Edition My stay at The Time Square Edition by far exceeded our expectations specially after having been disappointed with our stay at the JW Marriott, Washington DC for few days right before we checked in to this hotel in the middle of otherwise a “chaotic” center of the city. Traveling is my passion and as a Marriott Ambassador elite member, I have very keen awareness of what an exceptional hotel is. The Times Square Edition checked all the boxes for me. From the moment we arrived, the guys from downstairs immediately made us feel so very welcome! At first, I felt weird because where the Uber dropped us off looked like a creepy alley but the The Times Square Edition Staff waiting for guests there proved me wrong and made me feel at ease immediately. Shout out to Jerome Canseco for going above and beyond in welcoming us, being greeted and taking care of our luggage and collaborating with our check in, including some tips and recommendations that are totally very much out of his scope of work! Checking in on the 7th floor I believe, we were welcomed by very friendly and attentive guys. I want to specially thank Mr. Angelo Esteban for going above and beyond in accommodating our requests and being so very knowledgeable and responsive for everything that we needed to make our stay not only comfortable but definitely extraordinary! As a California traveler and a self proclaimed foodie from Los Angeles, I really wanted to make my stay here in New York very memorable. We have enlisted the help of Mr. John Sieber, the concierge to recommend and create amazing experiences for us. Mr. Sieber did not disappoint and definitely made our stay here in New York absolutely memorable not only in terms of experiences, but also his willingness to make all things perfectly planned and done. We wanted to watch Hugh Jackman’s The Music Man and MJ the musical, both of which were sold out, but he did his best to make things happen for us! His dining reservations and recommendations were totally at par for us, including our not usually our “taste” of club but glad we experienced it at the Paradise Club. Dinner at the Ardor for sure was superb and our table was excellent! This location will remain on my top 5 locations to stay while I’m in NYC. Convenient location yet secluded from the bustle of the city once you enter. Our room was on a corner top floor of 29th with the view of Times Square and it was just amazing to wake up to in the morning and at night, the bright city lights make a very unique experience as well. Comfy beds and chic minimalist interior design as expected. The Times Square Edition by far is one of the most special hotels I will keep wanting to go back to, and will definitely send all my friends and family to stay there. As a matter of fact, I’m sending my newlyweds son and his wife there this weekend to experience what I just experienced from this amazing hotel! Cheers!

Times Square EDITION offered a prime location and decent view for my Memorial Day week stay. While it is rated to be a 5 star hotel, I wouldn’t say there’s anything special about it (not said offensively). My room was clean, but small. The staff were friendly, and the on-site restaurant and lounge were nice.

Almost all the rooms are quite small but this is normal NYC. Room was minimalistic like Scandinavian style. We did not have the cheapest one but it is hard to say how those could offer much less. At least we had a really nice view of Times Square. That was of course a little bit noisy but otherwise the place was quiet and even AC so sleep comfort was at the right level in that comfy bed. Location is good if you like to see Times Square and theater venues around it. Otherwise I prefer to stay in a quieter neighbourhood. Package price ($75) for the breakfast was outrageous. Restaurant looked very nice but we did not have time to eat there. Some of the facilities were still closed. A really good place to stay but it did not feel like a 5* experience.

Low price, tiny room size but good service and nice food. Since this is New York, it's the lowest price 5 stars hotel. I think if you come to visit friends or any business purpose, this Edition might be a good choice. I experienced two rooms, the king size bed room facing time square and the double bed one. The double bed room is much bigger than the other.

Excellent location, courteous staff, bad room service , very small room and not worth the money one pays. No space to keep even one suitcase. Wash basin in the room. As a Level 15 Hotel Expert, I will not recommend a stay.

This is a great hotel for families as it is right in the heart of the action. Literally on the edge of Time Square, you are perfectly placed for Broadway theatres, and access to subways to go up or downtown. The hotel room itself was great, two large queen beds were perfect for two adults and two kids for a few nights stay. The hotel atmosphere is super cool, very black and white trendy decor throughout. It’s so cool that Beyoncé had her album launch party there a few days after we left! The concierge team also really helpful given us useful tips on getting around and places to eat. Would certainly stay here again.

The most attentive staff, some days they cleaned the room twice , or came in and remade the bed, put the lights on and the tv etc for when I got back from a show, amazing facilities , the gym with the view of Times Square is a must see. Everyone was so polite and made me feel so welcome . Thank you so much. ( got upgraded on arrival to a Times Square view room and it was epic)

We stayed at this boutique hotel with family visiting from Australia. The staff from checkin, house keeping to the bar were kind, patient and genuinely cared about the guest having a great experience. A special shout out to Aaron at the bell stop who helped us find hidden gems to eat at, arranged a car service and directed us on places to go and see. The rooms were clean and had a modern minimal esthetic. The location is ideal for a first time NY visit. Well located in the theatre district to book tickets and all the shopping on 5th Ave. We happened to stay at the Marriott Marquis a week before the Edition for one night and it was not as personable.

From check in the staff were not helpful and gave us false and wrong information. After a 14 hour direct flight, we got our rooms at 5:45PM while regular check in time is 4:00PM guaranteed and being a platinum member and a silver elite member this service is not acceptable! After 2 nights, They requested us to checkout and pack our bags to checkin to our second reservation since we added 2 more nights closer to our checkin dates, after doing all the fuss and hassle they tell us its going to be the same exact room we were actually in. I really dont think this hotel is up to the edition standard and especially a marriott bonvoy!

Third visit to New York and staying in Times Square. The location of this hotel is perfect if you want to be slap in the centre of the hustle. Our room was on floor 18 and opposite a construction site which was pretty noisy at times along with the craziness of Times Square but a small price to pay for a great location. The room was lovely but the most impractical to stay in with more than a few nights clothing because of the lack of space to hang/store stuff so we pretty much lived out of our suitcase for the entire time. Would not return because there are plenty of others.
