Made Hotel is one of a kind. The staff is exceptional. Every staff member is kind and they go out of their way to make our visits special (shoutout to Priscilla as she always takes great care of us). I really like the free coffee and tea in the lobby for guests. The rooms are AMAZING and the beds are comfortable. Literally just purchased a Tempurpedic at home and their mattress was so impressive that I’m considering to trade. Made Hotel will always be our go-to NYC accommodation. Thank you Made Team for always making us feel special!
I can't say enough good things about this place. I took clients there for a trip. They held our bags when we arrived early so that we could head out to lunch. Rooms were ready when we returned. Matthew helped me organize a spot at Good Behavior (roof bar) so we could entertain before our Broadway show. The attention to detail of the space and staff was amazing, 10/10. I will certainly be back.
Amazing experience, from help with my reservation through checkout. Welcoming and hospitable staff, great location, beautifully appointed room. Perfect all around. Loved everything about this hotel, would rebook in a second. Highly recommend.
The hipster hotel business model appears to be minimise costs and maximise revenues. This is achieved by maxing revs per square meter (small rooms) while charging $400 per night and providing few amenities (no wardrobe, fridge, coffee machine, iron & board, in-room water, robes etc). This is offset by contemporary and stylish design. Our double room was sold as suitable for 4 people - it’s not - unless they’re small children. This hotel is definitely not for me - but appreciate it is for others.
Really nice atmosphere and design. Small but well-laid-out room and bathroom. Cool lobby and rooftop bars, and a tapas place downstairs. Easy walk to Madison Square and Koreatown. A few minor but nagging complaints. Our bedsheets had stains on them, and instead of a duvet cover, the duvet was just covered with flat sheets which inevitably slid off. Also no mattress pad. No complimentary water in the room, which feels shabby, especially given the room rate (although there was complimentary drip coffee for guests in the morning). Also, it is evidently now commonplace in NYC to charge $75 *each* time you request your car from valet parking (rather than a flat daily fee), which seems ridiculous. Staff was not wearing masks, which may or may not bother you.
MADE New York Hotel is one of the best boutique hotels I have ever stayed in. My buddy and I meet in NYC for a show and both got rooms at MADE…chic, hip and a great location. The rooms are understated and peaceful in a city that never sleeps, with a rooftop bar that is awesome. Kaylin, Hadi, Priscilla and the rest of staff were all really friendly and great from top to bottom! I highly recommend staying here for a unique time in the city and I will be staying here again! D
We absolutely loved our stay here. From the glass of wine we got upon arrival, to the friendly staff, to the toiletries, to the rooftop bar, to the room itself – and even the free coffee from downstairs we enjoyed every morning. Genuinely perfect. We've bee recommending it to everyone we know. Can't wait to come back!
I stayed 2 nights for a business trip & just loved the ambiance & vibe of this hotel. The design is is a mix of organic/natural & modern. & the staff is so friendly & helpful. Room was spacious & perfectly laid out. Had an amazing stay, will definitely stay here next trip!
I have stayed at the MADE hotel three separate times. This is my favorite hotel in Manhattan and I am already planning my return trip. The only sign out front is a gold plaque on the ground stating "MADE hotel". While this can make your initial entrance a bit confusing, it felt much more secluded and private thereafter. The lobby is shared with a coffee shop and wine bar (and you get tokens for complimentary coffee with your stay, which is a wonderful perk). There is ample comfortable seating options in the lobby and a patio to sit. The lobby is often filled with people working/studying, though many seats are specifically saved for hotel guests only. The front desk staff is absolutely wonderful! Upon my second trip there, they had remembered my name and were so incredibly helpful (getting water for our room, local recommendations, check in process). The rooms are very comfortable albeit small (though very much on par for New York City hotel rooms). The rain shower is a beautiful feature (though be sure to close the doors to the bathroom when you shower - I once triggered the smoke alarm by taking a hot shower). The location in Chelsea is central and you can easily access many restaurants, shops, attractions, and public transit. I look forward to my return trip!…
I just wrapped up a 3 night stay at Made and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my stay. From the room, to the service to the quality of the hotel itself, everything was great. I stayed in a Studio room which was spacious enough. I found the layout and furniture to be really well thought out. The wall had a bracket that included a desk unit, hangers and the tv without taking up space in the room. Overall, I definitely would recommend Made and will return. Shout out to Lucas who was extremely helpful! Looking forward to coming back soon.
