Elegantly designed hotel with a friendly staff and a fun chill atmosphere. The bar, cafe and restaurant are all wonderful. It's in a great location too. I highly recommend it for either business or pleasure.

Hotel's Favorite
Smooth sailing on every front! Efficient and personable service at reception (especially from Lucas). Room was ready long before check-in. Loved the coffee/tea from the chic lobby cafe (free for hotel guests). Umbrellas were always available during our rainy visit. Very convenient for a show at Madison Square Garden and Moynihan Station / travel via Amtrak. Our room with two full beds was exactly as described — nice design elements, beds were comfy, warm lighting, nice bathroom amenities. Yes, the rooms are on the small side, but I never felt cramped. I'd upgrade to a larger room for a longer trip. Looking forward to another stay sometime soon.

This is a very good hotel with excellent front of house staff. It's a 'young' place and by that I mean in the morning the lobby would be full of twenty somethings furiously working on their Macs and sipping coffees from the very good cafe in the lobby. Our son, there for a belated 21st was thrilled. Being young would also help getting in and out of bed. The beds are placed on a low rise pedastal and if you're on the far side with no small drop to the floor to help then you're doing level 6 yoga to get up in the night. One other criticism of the room - there is minimal storage space, we ended up living out of our suitcases. From memory, there was no hanging space at all. Downstairs, we loved the bar, and most of the time the folks behind it kept 'em coming. Front of house were a delight - spontaneously cheerful and very helpful when required. Would stay here again.

we stayed at the made hotel, nyc for 2 nights in november. the front desk people are very nice and accomodating. the room is exceptionally small, (no closets, bed against the wall) and the bathroom is reminiscent of an airplane restroom. the cleanliness was ok, but we noticed that the bathmat had not been changed out and the toilet could have been cleaned better. we were given a $75. credit to use in the restaurant, which was nice as we used it for breakfast (choices are minimal). there is a lovely wine hour in the evening. the lobby is filled with good looking young people, who appeared to be doing business locally. no real complaints, but it is not a plush hotel and you should know what you are getting.

Visited NYC and stayed at MADE for 6 nights late Oct 2023. Had been looking for a hotel with a bit of personality, high quality and a great location and MADE ticked all the boxes. The hotel is very well designed with the hotel reception located between the coffee shop and the lobby bar. The place was always bustling and very relaxing with great music and atmosphere. I enjoyed starting each day with a Cappuccino and Almond Croissant, while watching the world go by. There were breakfast options from the Tapas Restaurant (Debajo) also and I enjoyed some delicious Eggs Benedict (MADE style) some mornings too. The bedrooms were very boutique with cool industrial style bathrooms and very comfortable beds and linens, and high end toiletries from a local supplier. Everything about this hotel is bespoke and curated. After a day out and about we’d return to enjoy a drink in the lobby bar which transforms in late afternoon from daytime to nighttime mode when the lights go down and the music turned up. We ate here a few evenings before heading to Hamilton (20 min walk to Times Square) and a Knicks game at Madison Square Garden (only about 5+ minutes away). The shared area is so well designed between the coffee shop, reception and lobby bar, it’s an area you want to use and relax in rather than just pass by en route to your bedroom. The location in Mid Town Manhattan is fantastic. Very close to Madison Square Gardens and not too far from the broadway shows near Times Square, with a glimpse of the Empire State never far away. There is a lovely short walk just around the corner down to the Flat-Iron Building and lots of stylish places to eat and drink. Great atmosphere and great views. All in all, MADE met and exceeded my expectations and was very much part of our NYC experience. Finally a thank you to all the great, friendly team at MADE who made our stay an exceptional one. We’ll be back.

Friendly staff, perfect location, lovely big windows onto views of mid-town Manhattan. The beds were very comfortable. Anything we asked for was promptly delivered from reception, like extra hangers and a kettle. We loved it.

Fantastic hotel in a great location. We had a Deluxe Room and although not the largest they were very modern, clean, quiet, and well thought out. The staff were all friendly, and we enjoyed the vibe of the main bar. When we return to NYC we will definitely want to come back to this hotel again. A few constructive comments for improvement, although none of these issues affected our stay: 1) We asked for service each day, the first two days were perfect. The third day (by Elizabeth R) there was no duvet cover and instead just a single sheet, the duvet and another sheet on top. Although it was fine to start with it got all messy in the night. I also noticed some bright red lipstick on the uncovered duvet, which wasn’t great. We mentioned this to reception who wrote it down, but when we returned although for the final day the room had been serviced by the same maid and there was still no duvet cover and this time no hand towels in the bathroom. 2) On Wednesday morning we went down for Breakfast at 07:30 with a busy day ahead. At 07:45 there was still no menus out and no service. We asked at Reception, and they said they should be there but didn’t follow it up. Instead, we went up to the room, got our coats to go out for breakfast. As we came back down at 07:55 we noticed there was still no service, we mentioned it again to reception and left. 3) In the UK water is normally provided free in the rooms for the first night. Although we were aware this is NYC I looked on the mini-bar menu and couldn’t seem to find the price for water or any of the other items left in the room. We probably would have drunk it anyway, but my comment is more to be transparent on the prices, as we only got the bill emailed to us on our return to the UK. 13USD for the large bottle and 7USD for the small bottle (before tax + tip) is quite steep. 4) There was confusion around the coffee provided as part of the curation fee. Reception told me to go to Paper and show the card there. I went there asked for a flat-white and then got told they don’t charge to the room and so not to embarrass myself I just paid. It transpired the free coffee was drip coffee served in the bar (where breakfast is served) and not Paper.

The Made Hotel is fantastic! The staff is the most friendly I’ve encountered anywhere. Neehed and Damien at check in, Lucas who manages, and Maya at the bar made our stay special. Also, the location in Chelsea is awesome. We could walk to EVERYTHING we wanted. The Highline, Whitney Museum, Broadway shows. West 29th is quiet for Manhattan and away from all the midtown chaos. A great retreat. Comfy room, great coffee, great vibe. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience at MADE NYC. The staff was friendly, the lounge had a great vibe, and the room was perfect for us. Interesting outdoor spaces to have a drink/coffee/chat. Honestly, just a cool/hip place to lounge and/or check-in on work. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Thanks for making our quick getaway to the city so memorable/easy.

Made Hotel is, BY FAR, the most incredible place to stay in NYC. From the relaxing, minimalist ambiance to the delicious, sophisticated cocktails, this hotel provides an exceptional experience. Plus, the cleanliness and customer service were superb (and trust me, I am VERY particular about both). Anyway, I can’t recommend Made enough - just book it!😁
