First night at the hotel was on second floor facing the street. I have never been in a noisier room anywhere in NYC or anywhere else. Garbage trucks in the middle of the night, others street noise and very early am delivery to flower shops nearby. Room was decent. Other hotels have heavy glas etc for this but the Hayden...

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location, close to subway station and walking distance to MSG and Penn station. Times Sq is also close by. Lots of great restaurants in the area. Great Greek restaurant on the ground floor. On a street famous for flower sellers so is nice to see their displays as you walk by. Very clean and...

Staying at Hotel Hayden made our extended weekend trip to New York a great one. The location was perfect. Everything was just a walk away - just point yourself in the direction and with 10 - 15 mins you are there... the High LIne, Greenwich Village, Times Square, Grand Central, Park Ave... all so easy.

Great hotel. Clean, current, super location and the room was awesome. Well decorated and in the heart of the Flower District so smelled amazing. Will return again and again. Always great to find a hidden gem, and this was one for me.

A little off the beaten path - near a lot of flower stores - close to a subway - room is trendy - shower is designed to get water all over the floor - nice amenities- overly firm bed - has a nice Greek restaurant inside - not much in the way of a gym

Pregnant blond desk receptionist at front desk sucks. Waited in line for 5 minutes and she helped a man who cut in front of us right when it was our turn. Afterwards she did not even greet us nor tried to help us. She should be FIRED. Usually don't post reviews so this shows how rude she was and lacks...

Just got home after 5 days at hotel Hayden. It is in the middle of the floral district so you walk out to plants, flowers and fantastic floral displays. The room was good sized for New York with a clean modern feel. Fast elevator & quiet aside from the usual fire truck siren- can't avoid those anywhere in NYC We...

Neighborhood Profile
Chelsea
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighborhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighborhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighborhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.
