We visited for our annual US trip. Here's my review
Check in: 4.5/5. While there's a queue when we arrived at noon, check in was easy and experience is good when you add in the warmth of the front office ladies.

The hotel is is perfectly placed to take in all that New York has to offer with most of midtown Manhattans attractions and land marks in easy walking distance. The staff are brilliant and really helpful. We left our bag in the taxi as we...More
Great location, close to subway and Time Square. They had great customer service! Our room was modern and clean, but tiny. I mean, like we walk in the door and we had to squeeze in beside the bed so we could close the door and...More
Arrived around 10AM, however had to circle the block due to being unsure of where exactly valet parking was. Valet was very helpful. Completed pre-registration where I was told that I would receive a call when our room was ready. We were able to use...More

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

I had an iPhone with me and had an issue accessing the New Yorker's wifi the first time. A reset of my wifi (turned off and then on again) did the trick. The wifi is provided to you for 24 to 48 hours at a time and then you need to join again. That is not much of a problem, but I was afraid the initial issue would come up again. It didn't. Except for this, I was ok and could use whatsapp to communicate with Canada or there from the hotel. When I returned to our password wifi all was good. I hope this helps.
