The hotel is good (cost x benefit), good localization, but the bathroom in the suite is a JOKE. I don´t know why somebody can project a bathroom as small and bad as it. The suite room is very large and comfortable, so there is plenty of space to project a bathroom much bigger and better, but what was project is... More

Great location on upper west side. Nice comfortable rooms. Not a luxury hotel but clean and comfortable. I stayed at Beacon last time I went to Manhattan. While just a little nicer, it is not worth the price difference. Milburn is only a couple of blocks farther west. Good location between two subway stops.

The Room was clean however the bathroom can only fit one person at a time. Kitchenette useful since they don't offer any continental breakfast. Good locational to all sorts of shops, grocery store and restaurants. Few blocks from Central Park and subways.

Do not stay here! The check in took about 10 minutes because there was for some reason a different address attached to my name and the staff could not figure it out. The first room we checked into was occupied. The occupants, thankfully, were not in the room (nor did they ever find out that the hotel gave someone else... More

For the Fourth our family, my wife and our two twenty something sons, decided to spend the Fourth in the city. The Milburn was clean and the staff was helpful. Our room had two double beds, a small but functional bathroom and a kitchenette with a sink, refrigerator and a microwave. The room was cozy and there was no view,... More

I stayed in NYC on business earlier this week and could not have picked a more perfect hotel for my stay. My room (king bed, private bath, mini kitchen) was clean and nicely furnished (though not modern, I did not find the style unappealing). As other reviews have noted, the bathroom was small and poorly laid out, but I've been... More

I have been staying at the Milburn a couple of times a year since the early 1990s and always loved the place, the location and the wonderful service. But BEWARE, the hotel changed ownership recently and it is not the same place anymore. To start with, we were unable to check into our room until after 4 p.m., a sure... More

The staff was always helpful! The room was large and clean. The beds were SO comfortable and our room was very quiet. Staying on the Upper West Side gets you away from the craziness of midtown and it is only a very short subway ride to anywhere! Good price, good room, good people.

Our room was pleasantly spacious with 2 beds and a couch for the 3 of us. Taxi from JFK was about $52 plus tip and by Town Car it was $70 plus tip. Beds were comfy, toiletries were nice plus kitchenette with mini fridge and microwave. Front desk staff was efficient and friendly. Hotel was clean and safe. Best price... More

To preface – we've stayed at The Milburn for at least 7 years and have always been satisfied with it. NO LONGER. New management. New policies involving reduced services and amenities, as noted by other reviewers. NO LONGER serve breakfast – an amenity that made up for the fact that hotel itself is nothing special –old and tired, with VERY... More
