The hotel is nothing fancy, no gimmicks or trends, just a great place to stay on the UWS. Rooms are bigger than typical NYC rooms and spotless. Kitchenette a nice touch. Quiet, comfortable with a library off the lobby to sit and relax. Staff is fantastic and Kurt, the manager, is the definition of what a good hotel manager should... More

First of all I need to mention that we did not expect much for the price (it was around $420 for 2 nights). We arrived at about 11 am and were offered a room right away, even though officially we could move in only at 4 pm. We were also upgraded to a better room for no particular reason. It... More

I was meeting up in NY with family and stayed here because that's where the others had made reservations. I had very low expectations based on the price I paid for my room. I was quite pleasantly surprised! I'll start with the good: the staff was incredibly pleasant, helpful and accommodating. Every single person we came in contact with couldn't... More

We really liked the Milburn. Booked a king suite for son going to college, wife and myself. Loved the quieter upper west side location. Close to subway stops on 72nd and 79th. Many restaurant choices nearby, especially on Amsterdam about 2 blocks away. The staff was friendly and helpful. The suite was very roomy, even though the bathrooms was somewhat small... More

We had a great 4 day stay at this hotel. Room was very clean, in a great neighborhood on the upper west side. The staff could not have been any more accommodating and friendly; they truly made our stay special. As an added bonus, there is a great French patisserie just across the street. Would definitely stay there again.

I highly recommend The Milburn for an extended stay in NYC. Prices for rooms are reasonable; the accommodations are attractive and comfortable; the location is perfect for hopping on the subway and going downtown or taking a bus crosstown. We've found that staying in the Upper West Side is preferable to Midtown, as it's quieter and nicely residential. The Fairway... More

I stayed here for 5 nights - 4 nights in a double queen and one night in a king suite. Both rooms were very comfortable, clean, nicely decorated. The little kitchen is a big plus. People at the hotel were helpful and courteous. It is easy walking distance to Central Park and 2 subway stops. Oodles of hot water and... More

Stayed here for work recently for one night. Found check in easy and pleasant. The room was quiet, clean and basic. Though it seemed like a high price, the location is top notch. Close to some great places (including Central Park) this would be a great hotel to base yourself for a tour of New York.

The Milburn is an older building, but it is very well maintained. We stayed in the summer, the halls were hot but our suite had individual climate control that kept things very cool. The suite was very clean and comfortable. We had a twin/twin suite. Two twins in the bedroom, a full size pullout couch in the sitting room and... More

The staff at the Milburn were highly intelligent, empathetic, and attentive as I was quite sick by the end of my five day stay. I felt very cared for and my needs were taken care of in a professional yet humane way. The single room with a king size bed also had a table for two and a kitchenette, which... More
