We stayed with my couple in Saint Nicholas Inn. Although the place is not near from downtown, it's very close to a subway station. It is very accesible. It's a comfortable place. The room (suite) has all the neccesary things. The WiFi worked fine. The breakfasts are included and excellents!! They are served between 8:30-9:00 am. It would be convenient that... More

Cheap and best place to stay in Manhattan. Nice staff and good breakfast. Very close to subway station 155. No parking facility available at hotel but managed by parking roadside, also there is a garage parking available just across the hotel. Enjoyed our stay!

Saint Nicholas was recommended to us by a family friend, a single man in his 40's travelling to NYC with work. In hindsight, his recommendation would be suited for a couple travelling or group looking to save money. Initially my wife was very upset once we arrived as the recommendation we were given was far from her expectations. She did... More

We stayed here for a week. You can't beat this place for the price, location and the accommodations. Lawrence, the owner and his staff are very helpful. The "continental" breakfast goes beyond a roll and coffee. Lots of fresh pastries, breads, cereals, and fresh fruit and the company of other guests who are sharing their NYC experience. The 155th subway... More

Staying in a B & B was a new experience for us, and I'm glad to say it was an excellent one as well. My two girls and I have had a hard few years and so deciding to go to NYC was a big step for us. I originally booked another room in the same price range, but after... More

Suite with extra bed and private bathroom. The room was immaculate and the innkeeper was pleasant and extremely helpful in all respects. We have stayed in various hotels throughout the east coast and this place was tops. The bed was better than ours at home.

I was 5 days in New York and Saint Nicholas Inn was a good solution to stay in in Manatthan inexpensively. Lawrence, the owner is a quiet man, very nice and always available to give advice and to help when needed. The breakfast of milk, yogurt, cereal, pastries, coffee is good and plentiful. The place is located very close to... More

Staying in Harlem

Neighborhood Profile
Harlem
As a hub of African American culture, Harlem has played a vital role in the history of New York City. Today, the neighborhood is as vibrant as ever as new businesses and developments go up next to local institutions. The heart of the neighborhood is bustling 125th Street, where street vendors and historic landmarks like the Apollo Theater mingle with big-name stores.
