Hotel was very dark. Room was generally ok but very minimalist and felt dingy maintenance wise. Hipster concept was interesting if you enjoy that sort of thing. Nicely stocked mini fridge. The radio / music player was cool.
As with all hotels in New York this was not cheap and I believe that there is a need to provide both a reasonable service and good accommodation.

I spent over 600.00 on this hotel and it was awful. Small, stuffy the rooms were SO HOT and they can't turn the heat off. The rooms are dark gray and dingy and depressing and the lighting looks like you are in a bad dorm room.
