We stayed one night in this hotel on 23rd street. I it is a 5 story historic building that kept the exposed brick walls - and skylights on the 5th floor- so it had a very nice look. The rooms were nicely quiet and very clean. The continental breakfast was very nice and in a beautiful library room. Subway was 1/2 block away. Only reason not to give it 5 stars is that the Wifi was not very strong.

I appreciate it whenever I can get a decently-located hotel room in Manhattan for just under $200, but this was a little too shabby for me. If you check in after 6:00 pm, you won't see a soul at the reception desk or elsewhere, which felt a little spooky. It was clean, but dated. I had to check out before 8:00 am, so I was unable to try the breakfast.

Very intimate b&b where you feel at home. Our room was very spacious, the bed enormous and comfortable, the size of the bathroom perfect with a nice shower, the decoration very authentic and very ny, except for an “angry bird” cushion hihihi. One can walk and be easily connected to the rest of the city. The personnel adorable... I will come back for sure! Thank you.

Stayed here for 3 nights. There was an ample breakfast and I liked the common room. My room was dated. There were ceiling stains and it looked like it came from the 1980s. In spite of this, it was very large and included a real closet and couch. It was cozy and the location was great. I didn’t expect perfection for the price, but I was pleased with my stay.
