Once the artistic hub of New York, SoHo is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway is teeming with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district – the world’s largest collection of intricate and elegant cast-iron architecture. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city.

I stayed at the property at the beginning of the NYC lockdown between March 16-18, 2020. I basically got stuck in Manhattan as my youngest needed a new passport and the passport office was only a few minutes walk away. Booked from my Marriot Bonvoy app standing in front of the hotel. Because of Covid-19 the hotel was understaffed and many services like the bar and gym closed down. I was one of 5 check ins that day. The check in was wonderful and being a SPG now bonvoy memeber was upgraded to a room with a view. The staff were very friendly and courteous. My son became a big fan of the Janitor a Hispanic gentleman whose name I can’t recall now. Apologies for that. I guess they entertained each other a lot but he was very cautious to keep the social distancing at height. There was no cleaning service but they did provide us with fresh bed sheets, towels and unlimited water. No food either. However there were vending machines and microwave at the basement and a closed gym for the lockdown. Rooms and bathroom was very small and the bathroom is very small for a Marriot brand. Smallest I came across actually. I guess that’s Manhattan hotel size of that class. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel for a family stay, a business stay is what the hotel was intended for.

I was there during the start of the coronavirus outbreak, even with mostly everything closed, I was happy with the hotel service, I need to get back there when all this mess is over. Too bad I wasn't able to use all the hotel infrastructure, the common areas were closed due to the virus outbreak But I'll return there after all this is over and will stay there again. The hotel employees are really thoughtful and the room I stayed was really comfortable

Originally a New Yorker. Wanted to hit the Village and hit some of the old Jazz Clubs. Searched Marriott.com for Hotels downtown. Remember the hotels across from SOB's. Picked the 4 Points SoHo. In my 20+ years of Marriott loyalty, (Titanium for life), this was the best stay in years. Chris at the Front Desk was a gem. Great personality and he actually seemed to like his job. He offer us an upgrade due to my status, and Wow, was I Suprised when we actually got to the room. A beautiful view of the city from the top floor of the Hotel ! My girlfriend loved the room and the view. Kudos Chris..Thanks..! Had a fantastic time walking the Village and remembering the old spots. Stopped by SOB's on our way back to the hotel, and realized that I'm getting older, as there were just kids standing in line. The Door men didn't even know who Phyliss Hyman was. Oh.. She packed the place back in the 80's. Doorman told me he was born in 1990..Ha.. Back to the Hotel.. Girlfriend loved the view, and a great night of sleep, after a great evening out. Hit breakfast the next morning, and saw Chris again back at the Front Desk during check out. Again, the guy seemed to have everything under control as some European guest were checking out and end. Was a quick one night stay.. But, the upgrade, simple hospitality, and cozyness of the hotel will be in my memory banks for a long time. I've been to two other N.Y. properties since.. Both nice.. But, not memorable. To the hotel Management- Chris is a keeper.. Hope it works out well for him and the Hotel.

Great staff. Stayed here and although I had some issues the hotel General Manager was very professional and handled my concerns very well. The location is very convenient , especially to NYU visitors.

Nice little property in the heart of SoHo; rooms are small, but that’s expected in this part of the city. Clean rooms, amazing shower water pressure & comfy beds. Exactly what I expected & a great value for a weeknight stay in February.
