This was our third visit to NYC and we thought we would try something different. The other two trips were hotel stays, so going for an apartment was a bit of a gamble, which did not disappoint. We had a one bedroom unit with a bed settee in the lounge which was easy to assemble/disassemble each day. It was spacious,...

We stayed here for 4 nights, May 2016. Very spacious room with great facilities. 10 minutes to Times Square, 5 minutes to the Empire State Building! Surprising very little noise and we slept great -but that could be the amount of sight seeing we did! Our bags were stored for our last day as we were only travelling at 10pm....

We were allocated a penthouse appartment which we booked through Trailfinders. It was clean contemporary and as shown in the photos. The door is manned 24 hours and we were able to leave our luggage on the 3rd floor on the last day. Good facilities with a double and twin beds in the 2 bed appartment one ensuite. As we...

We stayed here on march, 2015 just for the weekend to walk around NY city and for my husband to get to know NY for the first time. This place was a bit hard to find but when we got there we were more than pleased. We were 3 friends so the couch bed was ideal for us and very...

We have just returned from our stay in New York prior to cruising from Cape Liberty and could not have been happier with our penthouse suite, 2 massive bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and large comfy living room. The big washer and drier were a godsend prior to boarding the ship. The weather was so terribly cold and the...

We have just returned from a 5 day stay at the Oakwood, 6th Avenue. Absolutely loved it, couldn't fault it at all. 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. kitchenette, lounge, dining room. Spotlessly clean, helpful staff. Free wi-fi. Perfect location, opposite Macys and from our bedroom window we could see the Empire State Building. Would definately return.

Really enjoyed our stay here! Nothing was too much trouble for the staff to make sure we had everything we needed. Well equipped apartments. Very clean. Location is fantastic. Very central. If you've never been to NY before, be prepared to walk!! It's faster than cabs or buses. Loved it. We will be back!

We stayed here 4 weeks ago. Great Apartment. We had the Penthouse. Had everything we needed and was in a great location. Close to subway, shops and eateries. It was very clean. Bit noisy but hey we were in New York a place that never stops. Ear plugs worked wonders.

Myself my husband and daughter stayed at oakwood in October. Fantastic location, easy to get everywhere. We had a double room with a small kitchen and fold out bed for my daughter. Everything you would need for a weeks stay, full sized fridge and plates, no kettle though. Only negative would have to be the older doorman who was on...

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
