I booked this hotel for my mom, niece (8) and nephew (13) for a quick trip into NYC. The room was clean and updated, the location was great, and the breakfast was suprisingly well stocked. Is it the same experience as staying in a more suburban Holiday Inn Express? No. The rooms are definitely small, and the whole hotel is...

I stayed in this hotel the middle of June with several adults, parents and seniors for our school senior trip. The staff and service was first rate. We stayed four to a room so of course it was snug but exceptionally comfortable and clean. This was my first trip to NYC. I plan to stay here again next summer when...

This hotel is a good value for tourist. Having lived in NYC, I'm not crazy about the busy location but a typical tourist would love it. Staff at check in was very friendly and lobby was simple and small but fine. Rooms are on the small side but that can be expected for the area. Room was clean and furnishings...

Our first family trip to NYC. Trip Advisor reviews led me to this hotel. Located in the perfect place for us. Near restaurants, pubs, Times Square, the boat tours, the Intrepid museum, etc. Staff was EXTREMELY helpful. My daughter wanted to do her hair and the young female clerk suggested a nearby salon. The clerk went and called ahead for...

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Times Square location. The staff there are so friendly and helpful, it made our stay very relaxed. The room was clean and comfortable for the reasonable price for NYC especially that location. Some of the furniture was not in the best condition but we really enjoyed our stay and would come back.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
