This is an excellent hotel. Location is perfect for theater, shopping and seeing the sights - a really good home base for a visit to NYC. We enjoyed the coziness of a small hotel. While the hotel is just around the corner from Times Square, it is very quiet. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We booked a suite,...

While the location of the hotel is great, the hotel is way over-priced for what you get. The staff was friendly, but the rooms are very small and mediocre. We had to switch rooms right away, because our first room smelled of cigarette smoke and the AC unit was leaking. The rooms were not as noisy as you would expect,...

The entire staff went out of their way to make our stay most important. The snacks, coffee, wine & cheese, and service you will not get from a 'large' hotel. Wonderful service, I would recommend to anyone. We will be coming back for sure.

A welcome smile to greet you, in fact smiles from all of the staff with each encounter and they were genuine. Rick's Cafe was a comfortable and inviting place to have a breakfast, relax during the afternoon or enjoy their gracious wine and cheese reception in the evening.

Excellent room and location. We love the location, love the happy hour and the breakfast. Always treated well, nearby parking and plenty of restaurants nearby. Staff is always ready with recommendations and answers to all of your questions.

My mom is the hardest woman to please and she loved the place. Here you can have roses on the bed, chocolate strawberries, champagne (or sparkling cider), comfortable, bed, apps before show time and clean! Her favorite part. Now I will be going there to check it out

the only points I took off were because the couch in the suite was extremely hard and uncomfortable after sitting for an extended period. the room was very hot. we had to keep the ceiling fans on to make it bearable

Very small rooms ,but clean. Very friendly staff. Outdated furnishings. A good breakfast assortment.not worth the price for such a small room.very close to times square and grand central station. Room really is for one occupent.

My junior full room on the courtyard 4th floor was very quiet in spite of being just off Time Square. What was billed as a smaller room was surprisingly large for a New York hotel room. With it's faux Moroccan décor, the hotel has an old timey feel that is pleasant. The evening happy hour is perfect for hosting a...

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
