We stayed for one night. Hotel is very nice. Room is very boutique-ish. My only complaint was the room was VERY hot even though we turned off heat and cracked open the windows. Prices were great. Staff was fantastic! I ordered room service after 11pm is only sandwiches which is was not great at all. We would stay again for... More

This place is great! The hotel has an old world charm and the staff certainly add to the feel with their friendly manner and helpfulness. The bedroom was beautiful the bed was comfortable and the room was a decent size for a Manhattan hotel. The on,y downside is the lift which was quite slow, but you can't have everything! The... Just returned from a 4 night stay with my wife at the Fitzpatrick where upon arrival the manager Chris was kind enough to upgrade as to a one bedroom suite which was large, comfortable and contained arguably the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept on. The hotel is immaculately clean and cosy, the staff being a credit to... More

I had needed a hotel in the city for a weekend while my daughter attended a dance convention at a hotel a few blocks away. I decided to stay at the Fitzpatrick as it was close enough and far enough away. From the moment I entered the hotel, the staff as amazingly nice and helpful. I had booked a deluxe... More

We have been to New York lots of times and the Fitzpatrick is where we just keep returning to. If you want to book anything in New York Leo is the go to guy, he is the best concierge I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with in any hotel. The customer service in the hotel is probably your... More

I had a very short one night stay at the Fitzpatrick this week. For me, the location was great. I don't usually stay on the east side but this hotel was convenient for my meetings, and still easily accessible by subway to both east (4,5,6 trains) or west (M or F) sides of New York. Price was great (January is... More

My husband and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon. My family stayed here for a couple of days in early January. We had been so looking forward to it, and as Fitzpatrick Manhattan has traditionally targeted the Irish market for guests travelling to NY, we felt were staying somewhere special. We were not wrong! It was special, but special in the wrong way! This hotel is special in that... More

This hotel is a great pick for families! It offers several suites for reasonable prices, and is centrally located. You can walk to several small shops and restaurants (in particular, the famous P.J. Clarkes and Smith & Wollensky), and is close to several subway stops. I would be remiss not to mention that it is also two blocks from Bloomingdales.... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
