I stayed at the Carlton Arms in October for a 4 night stay. I arrived at the hotel late afternoon and was checked in quite promptly. I was checked in to room 6A. Initially upon walking in I was less than impressed with the decor....More
I struggled with rating this property. It is probably a 3 but the eccentricity and uniqueness boosts it to a 4. But it's a 4 compared to other 2star properties, not a 4 when rated against a 4 star property.

First time staying here and hopefully not the last. Every room has a different theme. Super clean, super friendly staff and super close the subway and great cheap eats. If you enjoy great art you will enjoy your room!
Funky and artistic hotel... unique artworks in all rooms. Located at centralised location and within walking distance to Metro stations. Many eateries around and the Asian eatery has great cool teas. Rooms are basic but without TV.
