I wish I could give this hotel a 5-star rating. I had a room on the 6th floor and the folks on the floor below have terraces which they used to have parties. There was noise until 3am one night. Since sleeping is important in a hotel, my rating is greatly affected. The staff was very nice and the room clean. The hotel is 3 blocks from Penn station and close to the subway. But again, I likely won't stay there again because of the noise. I am not sure if the noise is an issue in higher floors.

Stayed one night at the Arlo NoMad this passed weekend for my birthday. Upon arriving, there was a personalized note waiting for me in the room along with chocolate macaroons as a birthday surprise from the front desk. Check in was SO seamless and quick that I went to the bathroom to pee very fast, and by the time I came out my partner already had finished parking the car, checked in, left the deposit, and received our room key!! I could not believe it. I actually even left my Iphone charger in the room upon checking out, and called later on. The front desk staff had retrieved it and allowed me to pick up. Our room had an amazing view of the empire state building, and the door had the clean seal to prove no one had been in the room since it had been sanitized. The room also had a steamer to steam my dress for the night!! Social distancing was prevalent especially with the three separate elevators and mandatory room key scanning to get to your floor. 10/10 -- Also the manager Mr. Aviles is astonishing and held up the utmost levels of hospitality!!

I recently stayed at the Arlo Nomad for 9 nights while teaching my CitySweat fitness classes in NYC. The staff was so welcoming and kind, and Mike Ferrara helped coordinate space for me to film my fitness classes - he was so accommodating! I was able to teach my CitySweat classes on the ART rooftop as part of their Wellness Program, Kiara helped me set up these classes and was super organized and responsive, making sure everything was all set up for class! The engineers helped me set up my technology for filming, and cleared the rooftop space for me each time! My boyfriend made friends with the doorman who was very friendly, and I made friends with the staff in the lobby cafe where I got coffee every morning! I stayed in the sky room - incredible views and very clean look but room for storage even in a small space! Thank you Mike, Kiara, Chris, Miguel and all of the staff!
