We recently stayed at the Greenwich hotel in Tribeca to celebrate our daughter’s college graduation. We booked 3 rooms total, including a corner suite and the adjoining room for our youngest child. The rooms each had unique decor - one thing we tend to love about boutique hotels. The corner suite was simply amazing, with a floor to ceiling curved picture window providing views of the Hudson River. The bathroom was spectacular with a huge bathtub. The hotel also has an indoor heated swimming pool (extremely rare in NYC) and stunning lounge/dining areas off of the lobby including a courtyard reserved just for hotel guests. To top it all off, the on site food of Loconda Verde is amazing. I really can say enough great things about this hotel.

Hotel's Favorite
We had an absolutely incredible stay and family wedding for four nights in April 2023. The front desk team was wonderful and met our every request with smiles and assistance! We loved loved loved the room arrangements - you all went over the top! The food and drinks in the lounge and the area behind the lounge were wonderful. Housekeeping was always there and pressed dresses so quickly it was wonderful. We had fun in the Tribecca neighborhood and we can't wait to come back

The Greenwich is all about the personal touch of a staff that truly cares if you are happy. The rooms are compact so we usually get the largest available that is not a suite. The courtyard is very pleasant and once you give your room number there is no check to sign, no hurry-up feeling. It is generally quiet and a great place to read a book during daylight hours. If you are after great service and a generally quiet neighborhood this is a great place to stay in the downtown area.

My wife and I spent a long weekend (four nights) at The Greenwich Hotel as a special second honeymoon. It was a wonderful experience. On arrival we were made feel so welcome, and when we mentioned our special occasion and that we had traveled from overseas the staff immediately sought to upgrade our room. Unfortunately, due to occupancy they were unable to, but instead provided complementary food and champagne in the bar. It was such a nice touch and very much appreciated (shout out to Max for sorting this). Everything about the hotel was great - the stylish decor, extremely comfortable rooms, the swimming pool, the bar, the food - and the overall vibe. Plus you have downtown Manhattan on your doorstep. We live in Manhattan and had always heard great things about the Greenwich Hotel. All of them are true - fantastic service, great rooms, world-class spa. We enjoyed a short staycation here and will be back in the future. Our only very small recommendation is to make some of the amenities clearer at check in (e.g., snacks in room, coffee/tea options for room, etc).

After having travelled all over the world in the past month, I was genuinely ecstatic to arrive at the Greenwich last weekend. The front desk staff greeted me with huge smiles even though I arrived way before check in. They did everything correctly & managed to get me into my room early. They always made me feel special when I came or went back to my room. The hotel is extremely cool & I can’t wait to go back! ♥️♥️♥️

Refined but not snooty. Welcoming and friendly but never overbearing. Everything -- the spa, dining, rooms, the lobby, the great people who work there -- is perfect. Highly recommended and well worth the cost.

In a very cool part of NY away from the bustling crowds and noise, beautiful decor with a homely feel and carefully chosen furniture. Staff are great but one complaint is there was no coffee or tea making facilities in the room. At the price (£1100 pn) one would expect this and I’ve never stayed in a hotel that hasn’t provided one. A real shame.

We really enjoyed the location of The Greenwich during festive season in NYC. You are away from the tireless crowds of Midtown or The Village yet so close to all the action. This hotel is truly special as the decor and style set its apart from any chain style luxury hotel. This intimate hotel rooms are quaint and charming with individual decor, we loved our courtyard facing room as it was a true oasis in the city with absolutely no traffic or noise from the outside. The beds are amazing and the free mini-bar option is a welcome touch. The private lounge is a welcome place to start or end your day as the guest only space is quiet, gorgeous and the fireplace adds to the charm of NYC during the winter season. While we did enjoy the hotel very much what kept us from giving out a five star review is the service and hotel restaurant Locanda Verde. The front desk staff is fantastic and friendly but the servers in the guest only lounge and Locanda Verde were painfully slow or had to be flagged down for simple requests like coffee refills or getting a drink. The same wait staff would walk by at least a half dozen times before they would acknowledge you were there. The breakfast options at Locanda Verde were limited in choice and frankly bland. Truly a great hotel that offers you a unique stay and a welcome respite from the frenetic energy of NYC. …
