When I stay at this hotel, I'm treated as though the living room is my personal space. The bar is separate and they're not letting anyone in the hotel so its nice. If you roll in late, don't worry a bit because that space is open with all night amenities. The staff is professional, impeccable, quite and not pretentious. I... More

Chose over usual hotels in SoHo area - was not disappointed. Looks like each room has a unique theme, only complaint was lack of cupboard space. Shower was the most powerful I have ever had in NYC. Few famous faces present in the bar. Overall very good, but expensive, maybe for special occasions?

First stay at this TriBeCa gem and feeling right at home. The staff are friendly and attentive. Our room was ready upon arrival and it is a decent size for a city property. The drawing room is elegant but comfortable. The refreshments from the bar are innovative and refreshing. The spa--- ohhhh la, la. One of the best massages in... More

Delighted that you enjoyed your stay - we do our best to make The Greenwich feel like a home rather than an hotel. Not that we can have such a Spa at home but it certainly helps relax the mind and body! Hope to be able to welcome you back very soon Kind regards Philip Truelove GENERAL MANAGER More

Amazing bathroom with open twin shower heads or big bath tub. Decoration is modern and classy using high quality material of marble and brass. Even its toiletries uses luxury brand Red Flower. From linen to duvet to its minibar, you can feel this five star hotel is very detail oriented and add a lot of personal touch. The hotel is... More

Next time I go to NYC (bearing in mind me and my boyfriend have been several times between us as he works with companies there) I would definitely want to stay here. The service in the restaurant was amazing and the food delicious. I had the crab linguine it was beautiful. Really good service advising on the menu too, fabulous... More

Close your eyes and picture yourself sitting on a worn overstuffed brown leather sofa drinking a Bourbon by a fireplace in a huge library adorned with comfy chairs, sultry lighting, great art books and light jazz in the background. You're home visiting your grandparents who used to run a business in this very location in this building but now has... More

I stayed at the Greenwich Hotel in Tribeca for four nights while attending a convention at Javits Center. I have stayed at many NYC hotels and I rank the Greenwich as the best. The service from the staff is excellent, the vibe is low key, it is a very private location and it feels intimate. With only 87 rooms and... More

Thank you for your kind words and great feedback - delighted that you enjoyed your visit and it certainly is great to get away and not travel too far. I am sorry about the corridor noise - the majority of rooms do have an inner leather pocket door which, when closed, provide an effective baffle to chatty neighbors. Hope that... More

R&R with my work buddies. The perfect location for it! We held our meetings at the penthouse - I wish I took photos.. It was fantastic! High ceiling Moroccan tiles.. Huge penthouse with loft and retractable sunroof shades. My room had a mini terrace overlooking the beautiful courtyard garden. Snacks were complimentary- a good selection. Turn down very inviting.. The Greenwich Hotel has a great vibe. It is luxurious and beautifully appointed. The hotel's location in TriBeCa is centrally located for business travelers or visitors. It's close to restaurants and shopping. You can easily access the west side bike path or visit the Freedom Tower at One World Trade Center. The service is superb and the staff is discreet.... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
