Extremely comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms small but cosy. Gym good. Good variety of room service food. When you ask for wake up call a coffee arrives at the same time. Rooms well stocked with goodies. The only thing missing are NYC views.

My husband and I recently stayed here and had the most wonderful stay. The rooms are gorgeously decorated and ours overlooked a lovely little courtyard. The location is amazing, with lots of great restaurants, bars, and shops all around. We enjoyed drinks in the library/lounge and it was very cozy and enjoyable. We also took some time to relax by...

I was extremely excited about staying at the Greenwich. I have stated the Crosby hotel numerous times wanted to try something different Upon arrival the staff was very welcoming and gave us a quick rundown of the hotel. The reception desk is congested with 3 receptionist trying to fit in a small area not giving the quest much privacy. Our...

Thank you so much for your detailed review and, of course, we are extremely sorry that you did not enjoy your visit. We completely understand and respect every view point that is offered. We have many wonderful reviews and many very loyal and regular guests that does make the hotel a very busy one but there are aspects to our...

It had the feel of staying at the house of your richer friend's dad. Very intimate and warm, big stash of snacks in the room and a tiny map that I'm going to keep even though no one needs a paper map anymore. I stayed here for work so didn't have to pick up the bill. My room cost $800...

Thank you so much for your very kind review and we are delighted that you enjoyed your visit. We do make every effort to provide an environment which is more like a home than an hotel and certainly this seems to be appreciated by many of our guests. Hope we will have the pleasure of welcoming you back very soon....

Recently stayed at the charming Greenwich Hotel. Excellent neighborhood and location in downtown Manhattan. As others have said, there is an effortless style to this hotel that is difficult to find. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We did not notice any traffic noise from our room. If you are planning a visit to New York, the Greenwich Hotel...

Stayed two nights over the Holidays with our family. Great neighbourhood with easy access to subway to venture uptown. Neighbourhood offers many options to dine, and provides an oasis away from hustle of busier tourist. Has our vote for return visit.

Asian inflected shabby chic very artfully implemented. I don't love the distressed look but my wife does and in any event we both agreed it was artfully implemented - think of it as the hotel equivalent of one of those pairs of carefully shredded, acid washed designer jeans. The pool/gym/spa space is very lovely, as is the calm/relaxing drawing room...

Always great to read such wonderful and understanding reviews - that shabby chic look lets you just sink right in and feel completely at home. We all love Tribeca - away from the crowds, in the middle of one of the most sophisticated residential areas of the city but within easy reach of everything that Manhattan has to offer. Hopefully...

The Greewich is a toney boutique hotel in downtown Manhattan. Co-owner Robert De Niro went for a "sophisticated European country house look." Lots of old looking furniture and creaky, hardwood floors. If they were trying make this hotel seem like it's been around since before American Express, they certainly succeeded (I heard it's only 8 years old). My room was...

Thank you so much for your kind review and delighted that you enjoyed your visit. You are correct that 60 seconds for tub to fill with water is a slight exaggeration but it is very quick and you would be surprised how many people walk away and allow the tub to overflow, so we do feel that at least it...

Thank you so much for your review and your kind words are certainly appreciated. The Courtyard is certainly a great place to take breakfast and we do miss it in the winter. Locanda Verde is a very popular restaurant and certainly buzzy and very busy but completely understand that peace and quiet is to be treasured. During the winter it...

This charming hotel in lower Manhattan ticks all the boxes. An oasis from the traffic outside, it feels more like an upmarket British country manor than a New York City hotel. The extra touches really make the Greenwhich, from the crackling fireplace in the guest lounge, the used books stacked on the shelves, the free mini-bar (excluding alcohol), a candy...

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
