I loved this hotel so much I can't wait to go back! The location is amazing, the views are spectacular, and most importantly, the staff and team there was the best ever! Friendly and professional and so caring for you. The hotel itself is the perfect size and the rooms are just right. And did I mention the views? And the location? Easy to get anywhere and all the neighborhoods are full of great restaurants and things to do. Will be back here for sure!
Had a great short stay. Was greeted with smiles and kind staff. The room was clean and modern with an amazing view of the city. Easy to find and short walk to the subway. In the heart of Chinatown and felt very safe during the stay. Would definitely stay here again.
Bed are very unconfortables, no breakfast unless in the room, not appropirate for such a day rate. Service ok and rooms are clean. If u get an uograde you Pat more for a better view only…rooms are the same and beds as Well.
I always love staying at this hotel, great location, cool rooms and the most beautiful rooftop. This time, we rented out the entire hotel for an event we had going on in the city for almost a week. The hotel staff was so accommodating and through in our meetings beforehand and were there on-site all week to help with anything we needed, including things not in their job description like moving a ton of boxes between floors and helping us set up as we turned the 2nd floor into a practice studio. Can’t say enough about the experience and the staff, they made our event truly special and helped us so much - working these events take a village and we couldn’t have pulled it off without them! If you need a room block for an event or just headed there for fun, def would recommend this spot!…
Superb location in the heart of chinatown next to Bank of America and close proximity to restaurants, cafes and appears recently renovated. They also provide $5 kore expresso vouchers, citybike vouchers, free bottled water from reception. Hotel 50 handled our complaints well when our bathroom was blocked at 11pm (after a 16 hour day touring NYC). Their plumber Tyree decided to leave the blocked shower drain until the "next morning" and we had to complain to the reception x 3 calls over 49 mins waiting time. So that we could get the next engineer to come in and fix our room. Sadly one of their receptionists on the night (inger) were very unsympathetic and told us to continue to wait despite already waiting > 45 mins. And did not tend to our calls for a different room. Management contacted us after and apologised profusely and worked well in the end. (Hence 5 stars in the end) So overall a strong location, amenities, fitness centre, and extras, just requiring staff training for night teams. …
Very nice modern hotel located perfectly within walking distance of the Village, SOHO, Chinatown and Little Italy. The staff was very nice and helpful and beds and pillows were very comfortable. Nice rooftop bar with a great view of the City. They do not have a restaurant on property but are surrounded by good ones so no breakfasts but they do have them delivered, at least for Globalists. Only negative point was that our Globalist $50 breakfast on Saturday was messed up and we never got our meal. Ended up going out and spent $70 on a breakfast elsewhere that we were entitled to for free at Hyatt. Reached out to the delivery company, the front desk and eventually the manager and nothing was ever done which was disappointing...the value of Globalist membership just does not mean much anymore which is a shame and I will not go wild trying to keep in for 2023. I only hope that Hyatt's recent and aggressive acquisitions of various brands does not do to them what the Starwood/Marriott merger did to Marriott as Hyatt service has gone down dramatically since Covid.…
The food at 2ndKitchen at Bowery Takeout was delicious. The service is convenient and quick. We received our food nice and hot. Hotel 50 Bowery has great customer service, the rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. There is plenty to do around the hotel, from entertainment, shopping and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel for business and personal visits. I added a picture of the rooftop lounge 😍
Really great stay at Bowery. The staff very friendly and helpful; they were able to accommodate all our needs. We got a room with a bridge view and let me tell you the extra cost was worth it! So beautiful! Also enjoyed the area in Chinatown and NoLita; lots to eat and see around there!
The room supplied you with the essentials, the beds were comfortable and the room service was an additional good surprise. Ultimately the room was very clean, well spaced out, and despite being in the city, blocked out the noise pretty well and was nice and dark to sleep in.
Hotel staff lacks courtesy and needs to be aware about products and facilities inside the property. They can only make up room in specific hours and do expect the cleaning staff to act as VIP guests and make you feel like a person at their disposal.
