This is a restored old bank- a national landmark. Rooms are spacious, well furnished and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is even a "ghost". Nice New Mexico wine tasting in the afternoon. The restaurant is elegeant.

The Trinity Hotel is an experience not to be missed! The staff is welcoming, and the rooms are not what you would expect outside of a major metropolitan area. The beds are so comfortable that we were asleep within five minutes and slept nine and a half hours straight--something that doesn't even happen at home! In addition to the beautifully... More

We never saw this hotel on any of the travel sites, finding it only by personal recommendation when we had to change our dates at a local B&B and they were full. Small New Mexican (and west Texas) towns tend to offer overnight stays that vary from generic to outright grim. The Trinity is a shocker, offering comfortable, artistic, roomy,... More

As one traveler wrote in our Trinity Hotel room guestbook, "I came to hike the caverns and found an oasis of luxury!" Nicely put. The Trinity Hotel is a great, privately owned hotel and restaurant on the main drag (Canal Street) in Carlsbad. The building was built in 1892, I believe, and previously housed a bank. Approximately 6-7 rooms on... More

This is one of my all-time favorite hotels. Love the look of the late 1800's bank building. What a gorgeous conversion to a hotel! The room was great. We stayed in 201, which has a king bed and a pullout sofa. The bed was plush and had wonderful sheets. The pullout sofa was good (unlike most sofa beds). The room... More

A lovely place to stay after a visit to Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains. Free coffee and muffins in the morning. We stayed in the "safe" room. The king bed was super comfy with soft bedding. My daughters slept on the sofa bed, which they normally complain about- but not this visit. The shower is wonderful and they have the... More

We stayed one night (3 adults) in a king room with a sofa bed. We arrived and managed to park right in the lot behind the hotel to check in. The reception is nice and there are lots of little souvenirs to purchase there and the girl on check in was friendly (although she didn't usually work on the front... More

The Trinity Hotel manages to tick all the boxes for an upscale boutique hotel, providing comfortable, thoughtfully-appointed rooms, a good dining experience, and surprising fillips like decent New Mexico wines from their own vineyard! We stayed two nights in the vault room, which easily accommodated a family of four, and our kids were sad to leave. Overall we thought the... More

The Trinity is a really cute, hotel with an interesting history. Yet, you don't have to forego the modern amenities. We showed up right after a storm, which knocked the power out. Because it was a Sunday, there was no one on site, and we couldn't check in. The code we were given didn't work because the security panel was... More

We are very glad you enjoyed your stay, with the exeception of the power being out. We do want to apologize for the lack of staff present at the time and for the power being out. We do hope you will come back and stay with us again, weather hopefully being much better the next time around. Sincerely, janie Balzano More

Room - we didnt got the booked room, cause of heavy weather issue!? The other room was nice but one price level deeper. Anyway, the stay was nice, the stuff helpful. The street noise was ok, I slept without interruption. The coffee is definitely the best in town and food too.
