The staff is very friendly and helpful and Scott, the owner is right there to see that everything runs just right! The location is great, easy access from I-26 and near restaurants. The room has a full kitchen with granite countertops, a cooktop for actual cooking, pots, pans and dishes are included! Full fridge and microwave too! Crown moulding, nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. The Lodge has an indoor pool, several patio areas, picnic tables and grills! There's a small waterfall in the rear of the building which hosts weddings. A gym, a stone fireplace in the lobby, a library. A wonderful breakfast is served every morning in the cafe. Actually this lodge is like a mansion that hosts many guests. There's plenty of parking and even an open field for walking your dog. Our room had a nice mountainview, which was a surprise. The beds are comfortable. We highly recommend!

I’m spoiled now. Wow. They were the friendliest upon check-in, had a welcome letter with mints in the room, and a thank you for staying letter the next morning. The crew at breakfast were on top of it all and extremely friendly. Loved everything about this place. This is how hospitality should be!

The entire staff addressed us like we were their own family in from out of town. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. We had very relaxing evenings in the courtyard by the waterfall. The hotel was very clean!! The hotel is pet-friendly, but I could not smell any pet odors. (I am not a pet owner) This is a great location for a couples retreat or a family getaway. My son's (11 years old) favorite part about his stay was the pool area and the vending machines selections. (not your everyday vending foods) VERY COOL GUYS!!

Rooms were clean and super friendly staff. Indoor heated pool was a nice feature also. The Lodge is centrally located about 30 minutes from Chimney Rock, 30 minutes from Asheville, or 30 minutes from 250 scenic waterfalls in Transylvania county. Great place to stay!

We are IHG loyalty members so we are definitely used to a certain standard. However, this trip we couldn't find a pet sitter for our 2 labs so they had to come with us. We called a minimum of 5 hotels in the area and if they accepted pets they had a fee. My husband called and spoke with someone and they told us they had a last minute cancelation and we could bring our girls!! They had a welcome letter on our bed upon arrival and we were greeted with smiles!! The room was great for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids) plus the 2 big dogs. The indoor pool was open which was great to burn some energy, they have a courtyard with a fire pit, a little nature trail and a great open area for the dogs to play/potty. The breakfast was so good compared to a recent stay somewhere else and again nothing but smiles! My kids loved everything about this hotel as did we. Also, I felt completely safe (in terms of Covid which is another topic for another day). Give this place a try! We were addressed by our last name upon arrival and departure. That speaks volumes of the level of customer service.
