The big front door was open, and a note taped to the staircase bannister welcomed us to the renovated former schoolhouse in tiny Torrey, Utah, a few miles from Capitol Reef National Park. We were the only guests, which gave us the freedom to peek into the bed and breakfast's 10 or so guest rooms (the doors were all open),... More

The Torrey Schoolhouse is wonderful. With its school-themes rooms, delightful sitting area, and lovely garden, we found this little gem to be a respite from typical hotels and B&Bs. We loved our stay and will definitely be back. The breakfast was refreshing. The owner showed us around and answered questions about the garden and the schoolhouse. As well, she recommended... More

This was simply the best B&B my wife and I have ever stayed at. Our room was incredible with incredible views of the surrounding red rocks. The morning breakfast was worth the stay alone. Ty the owner was the most friendly host. Very close to Capital Reef National Park. Good restaurants in the area. We will be back!

Being in a converted old schoolhouse appealed to us when booking and this was a very different place. The room we had was nicely furnished, although no easy chairs, as one previous reviewer mentioned, apart from the massage chair, which we did not use, although I guess a different touch. The bed was very comfortable and the whole establishment clean... More

We were so excited to stay at the Torrey Schoolhouse B&B. The pictures on their website really give you a true view of what you will be experiencing! We booked the 2-room suite – Arithmetic Room. Our son was able to have a room to himself! There is a bathroom in between the two rooms as well as a washing... More

This was one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed in. We were in the Music room and it was a very nice size with fun decor and a standard bathroom. The entire place was very clean and we had use of a fridge on the 2nd floor where we stored much of the food we were traveling with.... More

Interesting conversion of 1916 school house into B&B. Garden Grounds and room very nice and comfortable. Be prepared for stairs (which was fine). We opted for 3rd floor for quiet (no one walking above our heads). Spacious room light bright and even featured one of those Sharper Image massage chairs. Very nice and without the lace dollies, fake plants and... More

Located in the centre of Torrey, this converted, old schoolhouse is one of the nicest establishments we have had the pleasure of visiting. It oozes refinement and character and the rooms are nicely furnished and very comfortable. It has been said that it was visited once by Butch Cassidy in the days when dances were held on the upper floor... More

We liked this place quite a bit. The place still feels newly renovated. The furnishings were beautiful, and the room was spacious. There was a nice attention to detail throughout. The breakfast was very good, and we enjoyed talking with the host. The wifi reception was weak. Overall, though, we would definitely recommend a stay here.

This B&B is in a renovated old schoolhouse as it name suggests. The renovation is exquisite. The rooms are comfortable and clean and being on the third floor facing the back of the building we had some nice views of the red rock of Capitol Reef and surroundings visible from our window. On check in we found the key to... More
