Enough said.......In the microwave, AC unit and shower. Which by the way did not have a shower curtain when we arrived. No iron or Ironing board either. The front desk people were friendly and helpful, but the rooms look NOTHING like what is advertised. Not even close. And did I mention there were roaches?.........
I give this establishment a average score do to the front desk help. Very friendly staff and helpful in their customers needs. Clean rooms, but very small for the price. Security deposit required. Wasn't comfortable with surrounding atmosphere. Select wisely when choosing for a place to stay.
I'm traveling from New Mexico and I called 6 hours prior to my arrival to tell them I will be there in 6 hour. The lady said no promblem. I arriveed and the young man working tell's me I have no room and they are over booked! I'm so upset and don't want to loose it in front of 3 kid's all waiting to use the bathroom. I go back and forth and told him my card was charged and he could care less, He told me to come back tomorrow and maybe We can get you in. I'm in shock this is happening right now. He gave me a business card and I called my bank to stop any other payments to my card right away and explained the horrible situation. This place is a joke
Reserved for 3 nights - after the first night with a loud group partying in a room all night and a roach in the bathroom in the morning, I decided to check out - the management refused to refund the two nights that I was not staying. The room was old with broken tiles in the bathroom - extremely disappointed - Strip club across the street - worth losing the money to get out of that place!
Where do I eve start with the people who work the front desk? I should have listened to the reviews, totally 100% my fault for having such a poor experience. I booked our stay through Booking.com and that seemed to be their out for providing such poor service. Booking.com is the only wholesale company that is strictly guest pay is very flexible with accommodating guest/hotel experience. I called the hotel to confirm our reservations while I had a free moment while at LEGO land with my kids.... this was about 6 pm and the representative confirmed everything and said everything was good to go despite the fact that no deposit was taken off my card.... only a few hours later I pulled up the Booking.com app to get the address to finally go check in at the hotel for the night and find out reservations were canceled. I found this very strange so I called bay inn again and explained everything to the lady at the other end of the call. She acted as if she had no idea why it was cancelled and advised I call Booking.com to rectify the situation even after I asked her what was my next best step from here? Already familiar with working with wholesale companies I was prepared to book directly through the hotel and pay whatever the rates were for the night. But I went ahead and called Booking.com to find out what was going on as she advised. I was highly upset to find out the hotel had canceled my hotel reservations due to some issue with my card... (same card used to stay one night) what I was upset about was the run around the hotel rep sent me on instead of just flat out telling me what was going on. She works there and obviously knows the hotel policy very well because she all of a sudden knew it and made it a point to repeat it to me multiple times when I called back after speaking with Booking.com. She kept pushing the blame on me and was about to even refuse service to me. I never once raised my voice or used any type of disrespectful verbiage. I simply wanted to know why she sent me on a wild goose chase knowing very well what was going on. She ended it with “FINE ITS MY FAULT ARE YOU HAPPY NOW?! DOES THAT MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER?! 😑 I told her that wasn’t at all what I was looking for and asked to please just check me in as I had two children sleeping in the car and needed to get them to bed. The nights sleep was miserable. Pillow was flat and the mattress was not comfortable one of my kids actually woke up with a sore neck and a headache. I attempted to call front desk in the AM to speak to someone who would help me as the lady the night before had advised me she basically had no power and couldn’t help me... I got similar issues with the young lady who answered my call. She gave me some bs about talking to the lady from the night before but that was all that would happen. But they did allow me to check out early with no penalty... this place is a joke and every review is accurate. I am not one to complain or take reviews at face value but sadly the ones about this said hotel are spot on. The rooms are not clean (found food under the bed) , severely outdated and uncomfortable. Please save yourself the headache and book elsewhere. 👎👎…
This was the worst place I have stayed. The lights didn't work. The toilet didn't work. The area was noisy. The customer service was horrible. Best part about my stay was the Taco Shop down the street.
The inn would've received more stars if it weren't for my first real live experience with bed bugs :( Noy just one or two, a bed-full, floor-full, by the phone-full, etc. My husband was covered in huge welts. I wasn't accommodated for the awful experience except to move rooms at 4am (to a MUCH cleaner rm). I'm wondering why I got the dirty, dingy, dark, bug-ridden room in the 1st place if there was a bigger, brighter, cleaner room available the whole time? Otherwise friendly staff, quiet hotel, great location!
The location was not good at all. I should have paid the extra $70 and stayed by the bay. I go to San Diego 4 times a year for family trips, I love it there. I tried going with a cheaper hotel this time and I absolutely regret it! The place was dirty, front staff horrible, pool is tiny, parking sucks, I had water dripping on me from the room ac to get to my room, towels were rough, bedding had a uncomfortable zipper on the top that didn't work(stuffing for comforter was falling out) etc....I could go on for awhile. Just overall bad. Never again!!
Everything sucks...from employees that don't clean rooms. Stains on floor which was 1960 carpet. Bed sucks hole and stain on sheet. Hair stuck on the wall Old furniture, soap lol.... go target for your soap. Like I said dump.. you will not want stay at this so called hotel. Its gross ..
Had to meet with a customer one on one for extended presentation. Chose this "hotel" because of its photos and price. Photos misled me. The two rooms I was in had the cheapest oldest worn pine furniture. Scarred. The refrigerator was an ancient box on top of which was a tiny microwave. The sofa in the only suite has worn velour upholstery, and the stuffing in the cushions was depressed from millions of sitdowns. The lamp in the sitting area was broken, and never fixed. Another lamp was not plugged in. One of the t.v. remotes did not work. The extrrior walkways were pitted asphalt-like. The place was across from a strip club. Another strip joint was four blocks away. The neighborhood was sketchy. The "inn" is the definition of "seedy." Oh, and the bedding was cheaaap.
