It was an ok stay for myself and my girlfriend. It is just past the horton plaza when walking from the gaslamp district. Check in was smooth but they forgot to give us our breakfast vouchars and then when we went down to ask for them they only gave us the first night and not the second night ones so...

Dear Boden M, Thank you for your recent comments. They are most helpful for us to hear back from our guests with both accolades and criticisms so that we are always informed of the things that we do right or to learn of areas that require improvement. I have spoken to our maintenance department and informed our team of the...

This is my first review and I fell the place deserved due to lot of bad past experiencies. I've paid 420 for 2 nights, 36 hours of valet parking, 2 tickets to Sn Diego ZOo. And there is no longer a Greyhound station but instead a (almost empy) parking. Great service too. Check out the dates from last comments.

Stayed at the Bristol for one night while attending an event in San Diego. Wanted a boutique hotel at a reasonable rate. Had a room with 2 beds, as I was sharing with a friend. Hotel was well-appointed, if a bit sparing. Felt almost as if it strives to be more than it actually is. Still, it's quite a nice...

We stayed for 3 nights at the Bristol Hotel and had a very pleasant stay - the rooms are attractively decorated, very clean and comfortable. The location is great, near to the Gaslamp and various transport hubs. We would recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the downtown area in a slightly more quirky setting, with a great view...

My average rating for this hotel is because they charge a lot for what it is. For 450usd (or less, depending on how many people in your party) you get to stay at the Hard Rock Hotel and it is a HUGE difference! The Bristol hotel is old and you can tell. The doors, walls, furniture in the lobby and...

Dear Dey M, Thank you for taking the time to write a review regarding your recent stay at the Bristol Hotel. Our hotel was built in in the mid 70’s and although it is not brand new construction we have maintained a superior level of cleanliness, maintenance and renovation throughout the years to keep within the architectural character of that...

I enjoyed my stay at the Bristol. The hotel room was very nice and comfortable. Its walking distance to the Gaslamp, Horton Plaza, and Velia Day Spa. Oh, yes it is about a 10 to 15 mile drive from nearly each every other site that one must see within the San Diego area (including better shopping). The price cannot be...

We ran the 26.2 Rock in roll marathon 6/3/12. The beds were great. Staff was more than generous with helping us secure our shuttle. They gave us a late check out that really came in handy. The rooms are clean, decorated very contemporary and the city view is awesome. I highly recommend the Bristol for a gret down town experience....

Dear Guest, Thank you for your most valued comments and for mentioning that your accommodation did not have an Alarm Clock! After reading your posting, I had instructed our housekeeping department to conduct a room to room inventory of a missing iHome device which is a combination iPod docking station and alarm clock. Through a process of elimination we found...

We recently stayed at the Bristol Hotel in San Diego. The hotel staff was very courteous, professional and personable. The room was exceptionally clean, extremely comfortable and very tastefully decorated. The hotel was within walking distance to the Gaslamp district with a number of great restaurants and within minutes to the San Diego Zoo. The entire experience was exceptional.
