The location is good and has many restaurants nearby. As San Diego does not really have a downtown area where you can walk around, shop and hang out, staying at the Little Italy area may be more fun. The hotel only provides housekeeping service after 3 days but upon request, they would clean up the place and change towels. People at the counter are generally helpful. Overall a very functional hotel!

I am a person who has to travel for business around the country and other countries very constantly, and this has been by far THE WORST hotel I had ever stayed. First the original room the shower didn’t work so we were moved, second you can hear everything from the other rooms and 3 times we had to call to complaint about 2 rooms around us literally having parties and drinking on the hallway, 2 of these calls were at 2:30am!! And all these were the same guests!! And 3rd, they claimed that they don’t do house keeping until the third day, in which we called during the morning to have them come clean ot, they said yes, it never happened!! And when asked the front desk again in the afternoon, they called the lady on our floor who said she didn’t have us on the list but gave us fresh towels… I felt like staying at a Hostel in the worst place of a town!! This hotel should be 100dls a night, not worth the price AT ALL!!!! Avoid staying here!!!!! Hotel from hell!!!

This is a great location as everything is near and walking distance. I was here for a conference at the San Diego Convention Center and was able to walk everyday. There is also a bakery and a chipotle on the corner so you don't have to go far for food.

Loved the proximity to Gas Light district and Petco stadium! Rooms were modern yet cozy in the heart of downtown where we could walk everywhere. Plenty of restaurants in the Neighborhood !! Love the Beatles theme in the room, too! The beds were comfortable yet firm! Perfect spot! Margaret Lannon

A VERY MEDIOCRE ESTABLISHMENT. NOTE. THIS HOTEL DOES NOT OFFER ANY KIND OF ROOM HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE. I checked and was informed that even though I will be here for several days there is no housekeeping service. when I asked why, the front Desk attendant said it was because of COVID. I understand that we all have had to make adjustments due to this terrible pandemic, but how come the cost of the hotel was not adjusted to reflect the fact that the service was being withheld? No where on the website or during the reservation process was this fact mentioned. I am also not clear how the Pandemic stops a business from offering a service that is crucial but allows that business to continue to receive payment for it.

Old hotel with a face lift. Room was spacious and clean, bed was comfy, bathroom nice enough but overpriced. Walls are paper thin, you can hear people talking in the next room over and in the hallway. Location was good, parking $30 USD a day. Adequate stay but won’t rush back.

I had a fantastic stay at The Bristol during my visit to San Diego. The front desk staff were exceptional and friendly, making sure everything about my stay was perfect. The room was spacious and even had a dining table with four chairs. The bed was comfortable and I slept well every night and the bathroom was bright and clean. The only minor flaws was that the TV was a little awkwardly positioned on the wall (though I don't know where else it could go) and I could hear the music from the neighboring room one night out of the four I stayed there.

I stayed here for a few nights. The hotel location is very ideal; It is within walking distance from the gas lamp district where there are a bunch of great food options to choose from. Overall, the staff was very nice, the rooms were clean, and the hotel is very well kept. Highly recommend!

We stayed at the Bristol last Saturday night. We were in the Kennedy Suite. Absolutely stunning! And the staff was incredible. Nicole, at the front desk was so helpful. And, the manager, Liz was so kind. We would definitely stay there again!!
