We had not stayed here since pre Covid times until last week and we can say this great hotel only gets better. The staff and management are unmatched and delivered in all areas during our stay. You can tell people who work here really get hospitality and are happy to serve guests. Special shout outs to Regina, Vanessa, Nea, Frank, Jeff and Daniel. There is pride in keeping this hotel sparkling clean and the lobby areas with striking floral arrangements add a special touch. We stay at a number of hotels and in terms of service and cleanliness this one ranks among the top, along with higher category hotels such as the Monarch Bay in Dana Point.
This hotel stay was great. The front check in counter person was efficient and courteous. The room was a standard king size bed. But the kicker was the restaurant. I have NEVER seen team work like this. The hostess Karla sat me promptly. I sat is Nea's section, but she was in the back, so MM came and took my oder within a minute or so, about a minute later Nea came and brought me coffee. I wasn't even down to a half cup and I was already being asked if I wanted more. Everytime MM would pass, you would check on me. I finished my last bite, and with a minute Hector came by and took my plate and asked if I wanted a coffee to go. This team work was awesome to see and experience. The lady that was in front of me asked to be sat in MM's section and now I see why. I also want to give a shout out to the shuttle driver. Everytime we were in the lobby he would approach and ask if we needed assistance. He looked up address of stores we were looking for and we grabbed an uber. Amazing service from this hotel staff all around. You will not be disappointed!…
100% The best hotel on the San Diego waterfront. Just seconds from the SD Airpot, amazing views, beautiful rooms, friendly staff. Best hotel in SD for the money by far! If you want to experience the best of San Diego this is 100% where you need to stay.
If I could give this hotel 6 stars I would. We checked in for a four night stay. On the second morning we both felt unwell and tested positive for Covid. We had to isolate in the room and significantly extend our stay. The staff were extremely sympathetic and helpful throughout our isolation. They delivered food, clean sheets and eating utensils to the room as well as checking in on our welfare. We became very familiar with our king bed harbour view room, which was lovely. The balcony made the isolation more bearable. From the short time we got to enjoy the hotel facilities, the pool was great and the location was peaceful, yet near enough to downtown (we only had one day of tourism in the end). Overall a very upsetting and challenging situation was made more bearable by an excellent team of hotel staff who embodied the true meaning of hospitality. We hope to be able to visit the hotel again and really enjoy San Diego.…
Great View of the Harbor and the staff was friendly. The room was small for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The bathrooms are made for small people only but we're clean. Decent food from the restaurant. Nice stay.
The hotel is in a lovely location, but the excellent customer service by all personnel is what justifies my top rating for this hotel. We were greeted with smiles and Daniel was over the top! He was courteous, patient with my handicapped husband, and took the extra steps to hang our coats in the closet. We stayed for 5 nights and they didn't let us down. One unfortunate evening, my husband fell down in the room and we had to call the paramedics. Kathy was the first employee on the scene and the last to leave. She was responsible, while compassionate and made sure we had everything we needed before the closing out the evening. She asked how we were doing throughout the week. It's comforting to know they care! We stayed in a room with the harbor view and it was enjoyable watching the sailboats and Navy ships coming in and out of the harbor. You will also see many helicopters flying over the Navy base. This was our first vacation to San Diego and we were centrally located to everything we wanted to see. We would stay here again.…
This Hotel offers excellent customer services with Amazing location . We usually stay downtown area but we are glad to choose Hilton by the airport. the view from our room was spectacular as Diamond member the first night wasn’t really exciting when I asked for upgrade Nathen at front desk wasn’t helpful stated there’s no available room for upgrade but the next day different staff member took great care of us and we get harbor view room. and the shuttle driver(door man) Daniel made our stay extra special by providing exceptional customer services with integrity Thank you so much Daniel for your help you are amazing person. We will always stay at this location.
Diamond members have no status at Hilton anymore. You have to pay for parking. There is no free breakfast. There is no executive lounge and thus is a Hilton. If you travel to San Diego don’t stay here.
This hotel is located in a beautiful location. You can take a walk at the walkway with beautiful view of the shore and 10- 15 minutes from down town. Good food at the restaurant and hotel shuttle service.
Under staffed due to Covid, on hand staff was courteous and did their best. Rooms need microwaves and access to filtered water. More staff to clean rooms for multiple days of your stay. Johnathan was exceptional !
