The setting seems to transcend me back into the Miami Vice 80s era. I don't know if it was because the hotel is older or if the iconic flamingo statues in the garden had anything to do with it. But, I was somewhat surprised that...More
She is wonderful- professional, friendly and goes the extra mile. She remembers me every year we come to T and C for the PAG conference. It is a joy to see her smiling face each year. I hope her employers know how valuable she is!
I stayed at this place because I had stayed there in July. I even enjoyed my stay there more this time. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room I had was an upgrade from the last time I was there, really enjoy the...More
Have stayed here a number of times. We were in the tower, rooms have been redone. King bed was comfy and porch was nice especially to sit in the sun.

Bad experience with this hotel, don't sleep here. Bad housekeeping keep trying to rush us to get out so she can clean, how rude! Hidden fees, only pool and spa open. Never again town and country, I would look elsewhere for the kind of money...More

Recently stayed there for a conference. There was a booking mixup partially caused by us arriving VERY late (after midnight) that meant the room we had booked had been given away. So we wound up in the not-yet-remodeled Regency Tower the first two nights before moving to the newly renovated Royal Palm Tower.
Neither of the rooms had bedbugs.

Both ways, I used the Shuttle Express service from and back to the airport. The drivers were courteous, cheerful, and it's reasonably priced. It is possible to use the service without a reservation - I did on arrival - but a reservation would certainly expedite service. Taxis are available and when I used Uber in San Diego it was pretty quick too. There is a trolley stop right by the hotel but I don't know about the route; it would take a while though.
