A business we work with decided to have their function at this hotel last month. I had a reservation to stay one night. Upon arrival I noticed that the hotel/grounds seemed very dated. The smell inside the ballrooms suggested possible water damage. The entire feel of the place was awful. After conversations with numerous peers about how terrible their experience...

It was fine, the grounds and buildings are getting a little run down. The price of the food was a little high for the quality of the food. The service was very good at the Terrace and the check in and check out. The heaters in the room are a little noisy.

This is 5min from UCSD medical center and next door to very large shopping mall. Alot of food choices near by and staff is very helpful. The resort grounds are very pretty but rooms are dated and worn. The value was good and secure parking. On site food was limited & average, the room service was good but expensive.

I was fortunate enough to get an upgrade to the top floor of the main building which was great. I say great because it overlooked the entire hotel properly which is quite large. They have two swimming pool areas, and several food/restaurant options on-site, all were great. They seemed to be in the middle of renovating so during the day...

Did not get the room we paid for Gave us a room that did not meet the standards we were hoping for The grounds were nice, clean, and service other than the sports bar was great Hopes were set high to stay in the new rooms and stay(and carpet) was stained

I was pleased with the service, but the quality of the room for the price, was poor and I would have been much better off staying at one of the neighboring hotels. For example, the TV didn't work and wouldn't turn off unless I unplugged it from the electrical outlet. The shower/tub drain was so slow that the tub filled...

I stayed there due to a conference. Ended up being a great experience. People were friendly, manager was awesome! Rooms were great, amenities were good. Close to a shopping mall where you have more variety to eat and shop.

Great location. Great staff. Great rooms. The beds we very comfortable. The food was not good. Healthier options would be great. I eat mainly vegetarian options and my friend doesn't. We were both disappointed

The registration area was severely understaffed during the check-in process. There were many grumbling guests in line, complaining about the wait time. Also, the walls seem very thin, as the exterior noises were bothersome.

Fantastic people and place! No reason to leave the resort area, but if needed very centrally located for shopping, beaches, etc. Not only did we enjoy it there, but our dog loved it! And that made the trip. Definitely our place to stay in San Diego from now on.
