I stayed here in late February for a conference. The location was good and I was able to walk to and from the convention center easily and safely. The hotel itself is kind of "quirky," older, reminded me a bit of New Orleans with the courtyard. In that sense, kind of charming. But the antithesis of your typical corporate hotel....

We stayed at this hotel for about 3 nights prior to embarking on a cruise over the Christmas holidays in 2016. The hotel was a short Uber ride from the airport. I think we actually could have walked, except for our baggage. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, well furnished, and ready...

Was excited to be staying here for our annual convention. However was very disappointed with the accommodations. Our room was over the bar and the courtyard and was extremely loud every night. Was very disappointed with both the lack of courtesy the hotel has for guests by allowing the noise to continue so late and for the lack of sound...

It was my wife's Birthday celebration. When we got there the Valet, Will, was very helpful. He, not only took our luggage, he also took his time helping me to self-park by going with me to do so. The front desk person, Emma, was very friendly and helpful. She helped me get a better room than I had booked myself....

We stayed here for two nights, and our breath was taken as we entered this beautiful, classic-styled hotel!! The front desk guy was great. Very quiet rooms, which you need, being in the midst of the San Diego nightclubs, restaurants scene! Leave time to relax in the center courtyard!

Front desk staff very courteous and helpful EXCEPT.... we tried to use the computer printer, but the cartridges needed to be changed. This was disappointing since we needed discount certificates printed out. Had to wait a day for the cartridge change. Special hotel with quaint rooms. Lounge has good music. Worth the experience in the Gas lamp district.

Location was great! Employees were excellent! We loved everything about the inside of the hotel. Cleanliness, layout, furniture. Parking a bit steep, but I ended up parking elsewhere. Can't wait to stay here again!

The woman who greeted us at the front desk was unpleasant and uncommunicative. We had to change rooms and could not get any service to move our bags ,even after three request to do so.There was no guide to available amenities in our rooms. We were made to wait to check in at ten minutes to check-in time till it was...

We picked this hotel on our travel agent's recommendation. It is an old hotel in downtown. The location was very good with lots of restaurants around the 5th Avenue. The room is a bit small without a safety box. Nice old style furnitures in the room. It was a bit dirty as my wife found a piece of candy wrap...

This is a beautiful hotel with a lovely restaurant and bar. The guys at the front desk were awesome about telling us what was around us and giving us the back story on the hotel. A special shout-out to Nick, as he gave us some great ideas while we were there. Also one of the restaurant busboys was just great,...
