This is a great boutique hotel right in the middle of the Gaslamp Quarter. We had a King room with a fireplace and a balcony and everything was perfect. The bathroom are a little on the small side, but that would be my only concern.

I enjoyed our stay at the Horton Grand Hotel. It is a cute boutique hotel in a historic building. The it had a very pretty courtyard, a good restaurant and a very nice bar. The staff was very friendly. It is located on the edge of the Gaslamp District, near the convention center and not far from the waterfront. The...

We loved the location of this quaint hotel most of all and spent 2 nights. Paying for Valet parking is a must unless you want to spend half your day, and budget, looking for parking. The room doesn't have any upgrades to make the brow rise, but that is the nostalgic part of your stay. However, any and all feeling...

This was a very nice property. There was a nice courtyard and it had a classic hotel feel (as opposed to a plain modern chain hotel). The room was very nice and had a fireplace. the location in Gas Lamp was great for exploring that area and only a few blocks from PetCo Park. I also thought it was reasonably...

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel as I did not have high expectations after looking at traveler photos. The main reason I selected this particular hotel was due to it being most cost-effective and I am quite pleased that I made that decision. There are several reasons that I would select this hotel again if I were to return...

The hotel is nice, very different from what we're used to. It's built in a historical building and the rooms are consequently decorated! The bed was really excellent, the room not too small and generally clean. I would really have appreciated my stay there if: Sunday morning at 6.15am and Tuesday at 6.54am a vacuum cleaner started a 10 feets...

My first time in San Diego and so lucky to stay in this 'miniGrand' hotel. Location is so near convention center and church and ralph's.The front desk staff so nice and accomodating, specially Ms. Emma who would patiently answer all my queries. The structure is historical from the lobby to resto and bar, where there is a staircase leading to...

Located near a variety of restaurants, bars, nightclubs, Petco Park, and World Market. If you are a light sleeper request an interior room. The exterior rooms have balconies looking over the court card. A full service bar and restaurant is located within the hotel. I would recommend the omelet or oatmeal for breakfast. The smoothies are made with ice. Valet...

Chose this hotel because of its old world charm. Stayed 4 nights. Wife and I finished our 25th Anniversary in San Diego after having to leave Charleston, SC back in Oct. due to Hurricane Matthew. Hotel was very nice and located central to most SD attractions. Room was nice, with a balcony overlooking the courtyard. In a hotel that is...

Big thank you to the staff of this hotel and especially Nick the manager. We made a reservation for the wrong night and Nick was so accommodating. He made sure we were able to stay in the room we wanted and had a bottle of champagne delivered to our room to celebrate my birthday. Would highly recommend this hotel to...
