Great place for brunch or breakfast. Beautiful wood paneled dining room, outdoor courtyard. Food is terrific and the servers are friendly. Haven't tried dinner but I hear it is good also. Right in the middle of the Gaslamp quarter. Historic hotel.

I stayed for a few days and couldn't have been happier. The hotel is well located to the gas lamp district and many restaurants. The room was cosy and had both a fireplace and balcony. The employees were very friendly and helpful. Plus the price was right! Would stay there again!

My husband and I recently visited San Diego for the first time. A friend suggested that we stay in the Gaslamp District, and after reading many reviews from Trip Advisor, I booked us at the Horton, a very historic and beautiful hotel, close enough to walk to the harbor, the stadium, restaurants and shops. My husband is a foodie and...

Booked at last minute. Very close to convention center. Excellent customer service. Restaurant for breakfast and dinner was very pleasant, and food was excellent. Quiet room, could not hear party in the courtyard. Comfortable bed with lots of pillows, and hot water nearly instantly in shower. Definitely the hotel I will book for future conventions.

I was supposed to stay with friends, but a last minute change meant that I needed a place with a huge conference in town. I was worried that it would be loud being in the gaslamp district, but my room was very quiet and comfortable. There was a party in the courtyard, but it ended early. I had breakfast in...

I really enjoyed the homey feel of the bedroom. It overlooked a private courtyard where a wedding was held the next day. The main lobby feels historic and elegant. It was easy to walk everywhere I needed to go.

Friendly, helpful staff all over the hotel. Nice vintage style but with mod cons. Liked the lounges on each floor to sit outside your room @ the courtyard is a great place to kick back. Plenty of bars & restaurants in a nice safe neighbourhood. Definitely recommend

Great spot to stay in San Diego, close to everything. The rooms were clean, the staff was really good and loved the modern/historic feel to the hotel and room. The value was well worth it. Perfect for convention center meetings.
