We booked this hotel again. The breakfast with cooked to order and wide selection fruits and yogurt was a winner. The staff was very friendly too. Although about a mile from the convention center, this was a good morning walk to the conference. This is in close proximity to Little Italy too where there were many fine restaurants.

Friendly, personable, wonderful front desk staff. Amazing views of the city and harbor. Real balconies. Beautiful, modern lobby and access to computers. Small pool that was warm enough to be pleasant for this cold-natured human in spite of the 49 degree temperatures (or maybe that's because we went into the hot tub first)? All the things that come with the...

Main points as per title. The staff on arrival friendly but hotel doesn't have a welcoming feel to it - the entrance lobby very sparse and functional. My room on 7th floor had a fair bit of background noise from the nearby highways but doubt the level would affect someone who lives in a city. Didn't eat here so can't...

A lovely hotel close to little Italy, harbor and museums. A quick smooth check in. Hotel is quite old with no restaurant. Pool area with jacuzzi but no attendants nor safety people. I did not like that they clean rooms but they don't clean balconies. Hotel is overpriced comparing to services provided. Rooms are spacious and clean but the hotel...

Breakfast service was very slow and the waiter was very forgetful. We had to serve our self coffee. Waiters English was very hard to understand. The price for one cup of coffee each was $5 each and the total cost for coffee and one scrambled egg and toast, no meat or potatoes, was $25. Room was very noisy.

I've stayed at this hotel for over 20 years. It's been renovated and the lobby is beautiful. The staff is quite friendly and nobody makes a cookie like the Doubletree. I like this location because you can walk to the pier, restaurants, shopping, etc.

Near I 5 so rooms on the freeway side can be noisy. Very easy to find coming off the freeway. Good location to look around San Diego. Breakfast chef does great on letters. Parking garage is narrow as advertised. Midsize Cars are fine but larger vehicles would need to rake it slow.

Large, spacious rooms. Tons of outlets for charging electronics. Great breakfast. Will stay again. So close to Gaslamp. Knowledgeable staff. The parking structure is a tight fit but there's not much you can do about it. Parking in SD is crazy.

Overall it was a good stay but I feel that it was way overpriced (Including the $25 a Day Parking!) The price has gone up a lot since last year. So if it goes up again I will definitely cannot stay there again.
