Stumbled upon this hotel because we needed a place to stay for a wedding in San Diego. Sooooooo glad we did! It was lovely...quaint, quiet, and clean! The staff was super friendly! The breakfast was great! Will definitely look to stay here when we come back SD. (on a side note...LOVED that there were little recycling cans next to trash cans in the room...Way to be green!)
First time staying here with the family and honestly the staff is very friendly and professional. While we checked in Josh was welcoming and helpful. We wanted to stay an extra day and Sydney and Daniel went above and beyond and made it happen. Rooms are nice and the kids loved the swimming pool. I highly recommend this place it’s near by old town San Diego and minutes away from sea world. Thank you to the staff for making our vacation fun!
We only stayed one night. But it was wonderful. The building, lobby, pool, room, breakfast, Etc. It was me, niece, and friends first time staying here. We were all impressed. But I was especially impressed with everything. It is a nice little Inn. Their system was down, but they still worked hard. I am looking forward to staying here again next year sometime. For two nights. Thank You. Todd Graubard.
We stayed here 7 nights and I don't have one bad thing to say about this hotel. The hotel was very clean and nice, room was comfortable (loved the 2 sinks, one of which was outside the bathroom), breakfast was good, staff was efficient and pleasant, great location (walk to Old Town and many bus lines, including the city's free airport shuttle). I would stay here again when visiting San Diego.
The staff was exceedingly nice and friendly. The place is an older building, but very well maintained. It had a nice breakfast buffet (waffle-maker, yogurt, cereals, juices, coffees, bagels, breakfast pastries, breads, fruit, etc.) and a swimming pool. It has very nice amenities. They obviously take care of little things that matter. Although it is close to the airport, there was little noticeable noise. The price was very reasonable, and we will definitely consider staying here again if the opportunity to visit San Diego arises again. Only two challenges. Our room was comfortable and clean, but without a desk so there wasn't any area to work comfortably with my laptop. The neighborhood is going through some construction and there seems to be a homelessness problem in the area.…
The Old Town Inn is centrally located in San Diego. They have clean, comfortable rooms and a beautiful pool. The BEST part of the Old town Inn is their staff. The front desk always accommodated our needs from incidentals, to information to taking care of any need. BUT, what we were so impressed with was the personal interactions and recommendations they provided. On our last day, we had to check out at 11:00 but our plane didn’t leave til 7:00 PM. Don the maintenance manager recommended the Seaport Village, Balboa Point and the greatest Mexican restaurant Miguel’s. Our trip ended on such a positive note due to his kindness - and I was able to eat myself silly on the great food. Thank you to all the staff and management for making our stay in San Diego so pleasurable.
Old Town Inn is a great little out of the way getaway. Very personable. Everyone was friendly and the grounds were nice and clean. Loved the pool area and the breakfast. Check in was very friendly like they actually cared. We will be back ❤️
No wonder they are ranked high on trip advisor! What sets them apart is the staff that really made you feel like they care about you like family. From inquiries for booking, to check in, to numerous request while checked in the staff has been top notch. Their petite king room is perfect for us and it's located close to the pool. The petite king room is newly renovated and the room was decorated tastefully modern like a 5 star hotel. Free breakfast every morning is simple but filling (they had hard boiled eggs, cereal stations, fruit, yogurt and make your own waffle station, oatmeal). You can't really complain since most other hotels don't even come with free breakfast. It is a great deal for the price. Location is perfect since old town is within walking distance and the transit center can take you anywhere from the international boarder to downtown little Italy without having to pay for expensive Uber. Oh and they have free shuttle from the airport that takes you right to across street from the hotel. Thank you Sydney, Sam and Joshua and many other staff that made our stay a highlight of our trip, we will definitely be back!…
We are in our young 60's. Perfect nite or 2 escape from PHX heat, : clean, spartan & sufficient. OLd. so just straight down the end of US 8 to Dog Beach and Free parking at ocean front beach. tight parking! But if I could price match somewhere more modern , same location I would. Satisfied.
The staff was super helpful and courteous. Dan the maintenance guy went out of his way to make sure that any request I had was fulfilled....friendly, courteous, and professional goes a long way in the hotel business.....definitely will stay there again... Best Edgar
