Kings Inn is located on Hotel Circle. Great location for getting around San Diego. Only 10 minutes from Mission Beach and Mission Bay Area. Hotel was clean and welcoming. Easy check in! Room is spacious and has a great fridge. Bathroom is a little small but worked for what we needed. Bed are comfy and loved all the extra pillows. Safe area and easy to navigate too and from. Would stay here again.

A big “Ooorah!” from my family! We were in San Diego for my grandson’s graduation from Marine boot camp at MCRD San Diego. After spending two days on our feet walking all over the base, the King’s Inn was welcome relief! Older hotel? Who cares?!?! It is totally updated with colors and amenities reminiscent of the Lucy and Desi days. Really cool art-deco refrigerators, comfortable beds, coffee service and the list goes on! SANDY at the front desk was a complete joy and a wealth of information! The pool here is beautiful, clean, and welcoming with seats and loungers. We will stay here again when lucky enough to visit San Diego!

The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly for the most part. We tried to get a late check out because I ended up with the flu and the woman was rather abrupt to the fact that I would be charged for the entire day if I wanted to extend my checkout by 1 hour. I visit San Diego a couple of times a year and the last couple of time stayed at the Atwood and definitely received a better customer experience upon checking out.

We booked through Priceline and this was one of 3 hotels that were selected for San Diego it was $79 a night so we took it, Overall it wasn't bad but these are the pros and cons..Pros: close to everything, nice set up ,easy in and out of parking lot, overhead A/c unit not just by the window, room service was very eager to clean so room was very clean, full iron closet ,comfy beds and pillows Cons: Older rooms with adjoining rooms, small bathrooms ,very noisy all night (there is a bar and liquor store next door ) people always walking around, amenities we're bare minimum upon check in 2 towels , the only toilet paper was the one on the holder you have to request more if needed ,no microwave, and I think the worst part is.. We put our do not disturb sign up and for some reason at 8 o’clock in the morning we heard someone trying to open the door it was housekeeping they then took the sign off our door( We looked out the peephole and seen her ) I don’t know why she took it off but when we went out later we walked over and asked if we could get another sign we placed it on the door that night and basically the same thing happened the next day they knocked on the door asking if we needed service which woke us up My Husband said no thats why we put the sign up . My overall opinion on this hotel is it’s a decent place there are probably rooms that you can stay in that are not as loud probably towards the opposite side of the restaurant in the back.Housekeeping could probably not knock when there is a sign up also when cleaning empty rooms before checkout keep in mind maybe next door people are still sleeping at 8 am.

Thank you for taking the time to review our property. I am glad to hear that we will be your top choice when you visit San Diego. We look forward to welcoming you back soon! I agree with your review, the amazing housekeeping ladies are always ready to take care of the room, we will take the opportunity to remind them of our rules to knock on doors and respect the do not disturb signs. We hope to see you back on your next San Diego Trip.
