We have traveled a lot in the past thirty years and since I am a light sleeper, I fully expect to be woken up by door slams and children running in the halls. Not this hotel! It was spring break and the hotel was packed and I never heard any sounds! The pool, hot tubs and outdoor fire pits on...

"Grand" describes this hotel from the driveway to the lobby to the towers and great views. The location is pretty much unbeatable to take in the best of the San Diego harbor area, the Midway, Gaslamp Quarter or even Petco Park. Short drive to the Coronado bridge, 10-mins drive to the zoo. Hotel is what you would expect from a...

This hotel is doing a lot of things right. Just returned from a week-long conference at the hotel and cannot complain about the location. Its proximity to the trolley station right across the street makes it easy to get just about anywhere in San Diego. For a $2 Compass Card, plus $5.00 per day, you can ride unlimited trolleys and...

Stayed at Grand Hyatt property in mid March. This was the first time at a Grand Hyatt and it far exceeded my expectations. It will be hard to stay anywhere else after being at this place. Hotel Itself: super clean, very professional staff, excellent concierge, gorgeous main lobby, pool deck over looking the bay was spectacular, excellent breakfast buffet with...

Although we only stayed in the Grand Hyatt for 2 nights, it was a great experience. The room was spacious and clean, and the beds were big and comfortable. The San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park are only a short distance away, and our room had all the basic necessities. The Hyatt was a very nice place to stay in,...

My wife and I stayed in The Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego for six nights as the eleventh stop on a Seattle to San Diego road trip in the summer of 2015 and cannot recommend it highly enough. The rooms are modern, spacious and spotlessly clean and offer great city and / or water views. The various restaurants and...

Easy $15 ride from airport, walking distance to multiple restaurant options in addition to those at Hyatt . Huge place - but didn't feel overwhelming . Nice workout facility that had towels (including chilled) and headphone for your use. Pool is heated and outdoor - smallish for size of hotel. Only 20 yards and 3.5 feet deep - difficult to...

Stayed here for a conference. Unlike most other hotels, they did not overdo the air-conditioning in the conference rooms to point where it was freezing; the temperature was quite nice. The bedrooms are spacious, clean and quiet. WiFi is free and fast. The hotel service is excellent. Their food is great. Their cappuccinos are even better. They have a mini-market...
