I usually stay in La Jolla and ventured to try a downtown experience. Location A+, Room A+, Staff A+, Cleanliness A+. I won't stay anywhere else from now on when I visit San Diego. Overall, I had a superb experience. The Hyatt staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were COVID friendly and terrific. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect to celebrate a milestone anniversary.
If you are visiting San Diego, this is the place to be. The hotel has a above 5 star feel to it and the associates really do go above and beyond to make your stay a pleasant one. The front desk associates- Troy and Cruz are above amazing and very well trained on how to welcome guests and make their stay very comfortable. They also have a quieter adult pool that is great if you want the quieter swimming experience, or the louder family pool if you prefer that. And also the Market One food outlet is great, they even have Starbucks coffee and the associates there, are always pleasant and welcoming. The rooms are gorgeous and give you a great overview of the city. I always stay here and would never stay anywhere else while in San Diego.
Sean from the front desk was probably the most accommodating hotel worker I've ever encountered. The hotel is clean and they are doing their best given the pandemic. I would highly recommend staying here.
I have had Hyatt envy for years. We were finally able to stay there this past January. It was everything I had dreamed. The staff was courteous and helpful while being Covid safe. While there were many Sites in San Diego not open, we were told what we could do. Breakfast options were available plus take out and delivery options for all meals.
Great staycation hotel during the pandemic. You can get good deals on the room rate and it comes with $10 off the purchase from the market One restaurant. On top of that, you get an hour of bike rental and other water sports such as kayaking for free. We came for the the weekend stay to get away from been cooped up at home. It was a pleasant experience for us. Although most of the restaurants and facilities are closed. We enjoyed the room and the view of the harbor with our upgraded ocean view room. The staff here are so friendly and helpful. They were so accommodating with our late checkout as we were going on a trip In the morning which would have needed extra time to check out. The location of the hotel is in the center of everything. Seaport Village is only a few minutes walk where you can find tons of restaurants to eat. Going somewhere? The local light rail is also a few minutes walk from the hotel. For those wanting to take the ferry to Coronado Island, the terminal for ferry is only 10 minutes walk. The airport is also only 10 minutes Uber ride. Parking is not cheap but for $40 a night, you can get in and out as many times as you want.…
