Nice hotel with clean rooms. Not near much to do or eat in the area without a long walk or Uber ride. Bar onsite closes early and wants to get you out quick. Front desk and banquet staff were very nice but bar staff could use improvement.

Hotel's Favorite
This is a much stay while visiting La Jolla. Staff and hotel were amazing. Rooms were very clean and was a very comfortable stay. Location was close to Torrey Pines and great restaurants and shopping close by.Will stay here again in the future.

Had a fantastic conference at this hotel for four days. The hotel has a gum but is right across the street from an Orange Theory as well as a short walk/drive to the UTC Westfield Shopping Center. Hotel was clean, rooms were comfortable and the staff showed genuine hospitality. Nice pool area and the food and beverage was delicious.

At check-in, they added a bogus "destination fee" on top of the advertised price. This is dishonest. The room price should be the room price. Externally imposed taxes being extra, I understand, but calling it a "destination fee" is just another way of saying "we lied to you about the price."

If you stay here, be sure to contact management in advance and ensure that they check your room, particularly the bathroom, for needed maintenance of plumbing. My first room smelled of sewage, emitting from the bathroom sink. Then the bathtub/shower would not drain fully in the second room I was given. Too much time spent moving rooms, negotiating with management for compensation for my troubles, and then chasing down housekeeping staff to try and get my room cleaned.

Staying at this Hyatt was a wonderful experience! 10/10 recommend. From the moment we checked in and left the building we were showered with the best customer service. A special shout out to valet service, Dameon went above and beyond. Super friendly and top of the line at his job. Rooms were super clean and beds were extremely comfortable. I will definitely officially become a Hyatt member.
