Good: Location, price Bad: Door slamming all night long. I mean, hard enough to shake the walls in our room. On one occasion I sat bolt upright, sure we were experiencing some sort of natural disaster. And I'm hearing impaired. My poor wife. Also, TWO car alarms in the wee hours. I realize management can't necessarily stop things like that. No coffee in rooms. Coffee in office. Needed coffee and a new key. Guess what? Office locked from 730am to 815am. Phone goes right to voicemail. Good thing the weather is great while I sit outside and wait.
Clean, well run, all the basics, good parking, excellent pool. Would be nice if coffee was available in the room (covid problem claimed) or in the office, but the Jack in the Box literally next door was nearly as convenient and good quality, also there's a coffee shop down the street if desired. Walking distance to USS Midway and other bay attractions, Little Italy, and other downtown stuff. Perfect for our stay, where we knew we were spending no waking hours at the hotel, except a delightful daily dip in the small but wonderful pool
I was charged extra money at checkout for some fee that was not agreed on upfront. I was confirmed at a certain price, and then slammed with extra at the end. I did not appreciate the dishonesty. Additionally, the carpets were very dirty. The location and building was very noisy. Don't expect a restful stay.
Great for the money, nothing fancy but clean, comfy and quiet. Very near to the Harbor attractions, within walking distance. Staff is helpful, friendly. No coffee so I bought coffee from Jack in the Box next door and heated it up in the microwave. Small fridge. Searched for a plug to charge the phone, no chair but a nice table. If you what fancy lots of $$$ place nearby. This was just right if you don't plan on spending all day in the room. Also close to USMC Training and the Airport. Also a small pool on the property, look refreshing. Pet friendly too.
The motorcycle outside our window that was started while in front of the window after 8pm was rude! No mini fridge. No coffee maker. The carpet is patches of carpet samples that don't match. The heated bathroom floor seemed more like a busted water pipe underneath instead of intentional heated floors.(why would they have heated floors vs a mini fridge to store meds) When we mentioned these few things to the front desk, we were told "you get what you pay for" well thats funny, it was to cold to enjoy amenities that we were charged for "resort fees" the deal online (insert site you pay through) doesn't say anything about additional fees may apply at check in/out. Pay the extra "resort fee" price for the hotel next door. That will be worth what you pay for.
