Just a few things: 1.) Toilet paper holder has recess for extra roll. It's not big enough so you have to take out the extra roll to rotate the roll. 2.) Bathroom door won't stay open. Need to use a trash can to prop it open, 3.) Toilet seat won't stay up. 4.) Maid left dirty towel on the floor.

The hotel is very close to Qualcomm's main building and will be good choice of hotel if you are going to visit Qualcomm. There is a shopping plaza just on other side of the street and a lot of choices for restaurants.

We had a great stay at the Courtyard San Diego Sorrento Valley. It is conveniently located to Sea World (about 15 minutes away) and Point Loma. It seems further away than it really is. The location is in an industrial area (business buildings) so it was nice and quiet during our weekend stay. The bed was wonderful and I used... More

Area is quiet however our room (3rd floor) was very smokey. I have allergies and this is not a place to stay if you are sensitive to smells or dust. They tried to move us but every room had a smokey musty smell. Marriott did not impress this time.

Stayed in hotel after visiting San Diego. I liked the location just north of downtown. Very quiet. Room was modern with ice cold A/C. Drapes allowed blackout from light. Room was spacious and had nice balcony. Staff was prompt & professional for check inn & out. I did not try the small bar & restaurant located in lobby. But I... More

The staff, new remodeled rooms, and location were great but the sewer gasses accumulating in the bathroom, Room 108 were beyond awful. If we left the door open it gassed the rooms and became intolerable. Notified the front desk Saturday morning at 9:30AM , they offered another room but said the engineer would be notified when he arrived. As we... More

This hotel was a bastion of rest! We loved the quiet in our room. Also it was very clean and modern. The staff was very pleasant and accommodated to all our needs! It was close enough to La Jolla to enjoy! We never got to use the pool or the bistro, but we had already planned so many activities beforehand... More

I stayed for 3 nights with my family. We were "not" greeted by a probably disgruntled front desk clerk who did not even meet eyes while checking us in. First experience was horrible as room toilet had dump left! My wife screamed and we had to call house service immediately, manager was not apologetic at all. Service personal just cleaned... More

The hotel is near the expressway # 805, and far from downtown. So it is not a good choice for vacation. The headquarter of Qualcomm is nearby, so it is rather convenient if the purpose is business meeting with Qualcomm :-) The room is quite simple, but clean. Housekeeping everyday. There is a beautiful pool in the hotel. Parking is... More
