The bellman who helped us move from room to room, ARTURO, was so personable and very helpful... They are upgrading a good amount of the rooms as well so I'm sure the place will be even more delightful very soon!...

This hotel requires major room upgrades. We stayed in two suites on the 12 floor of the tower... I booked the first suite in their online system and it kept locking up... I called the reservation office to book the second one and told them I wanted a duplicate room on the same floor and date... We attempted to check in and were told there was only one reservation... It turns out he booked me a room on the date that I called versus the date in the future and was charged for a “no-show” they could not fix this at the hotel, but the reservation center said they would take care of it... The second room had water dripping from the ceiling while a shower was running above it...

Son far amazing customer service - the phone rings and "a real person answers" Then they direct me to reservations and Myra another amazing real person answers. And not only do they answer but they are polite, nice, informative and welcoming!!!...

...Before we stayed at the Catamaran, I felt as if the art of customer service was slowly dying out in California. The expectation that the customer is supposed to be grateful to everyone assisting them, new electronic tip suggestions that go far beyond 20%, etc., you know where this is going... Their expectations of customer service harken back to what seems a forgotten age... They try to make sure you enjoy your stay... They check to see if you’re enjoying your stay... If you tell them of a problem they work to resolve it... The staff at the associated restaurants were wonderful... We highly recommend asking for Ron, who we believe truly wanted us to enjoy our experience at the Oceana...

Had a magical stay at the resort for my mom birthday! Hannah made our stay the best yet!... It was our second time staying at the resort and she was a huge help at informing me of all the packages there were to offer for our celebration... We got strawberries and champagne in the room, which were chilled and very tasty...

Everyone goes above and beyond to make sure you want to come back again... They build you a bonfire on the beach and you can make smores fireside...

He made us feel so seen and welcome!... We told him it was our first valentine’s day together as well as our first trip, and he was able to upgrade our room to the penthouse level with a bay view... All rooms at the resort come with a fridge and microwave but ours was missing... Randy immediately fixed it for us and had both of them sent up and the hotel staff set it up for us... We spent a few hours in the free arcade and the spa... The garden is such a lovely view to walk... There’s a coy/duck pond and sometimes the ducks even say hi while you’re in the (heated) pool!... They also have an exotic bird sanctuary in the garden... The coffee and waters in the room are complimentary... Ice is located on the seventh floor and the lobby... The hotel is also right in the middle of so many good food spots and activities as well as on its own private beach... And while the hotel itself is beautiful, Randy really is the one who made the experience as memorable as possible... He definitely just made this our go to hotel for San Diego...

Our room was a recently renovated second floor room, overlooking Mission Bay boardwalk and beach... The room was clean and quiet, and the beds were very comfortable... Sipping morning coffee on the balcony as the sun rose over the bay was perfect... The bike rental is right on the resort property, making biking an easy adventure... Kayak rental is also right on the property, so we spent a beautiful afternoon kayaking in calm Mission Bay... We walked to restaurants in the neighborhood and on Pacific Beach... The hot tub was clean and relaxing... I highly recommend the Catamaran resort...

We stayed on the 12th floor Bay View suite with a view of Mission Bay and PB... Live music at Oceana restaurant, watching seaworld fireworks, view of pacific beach and the bay from balcony, heated hot tub and fitness center overlooking the bay were memorable surprises... Probably the best place I have stayed at In PB... Ryan and Kim from front desk were super nice and took care of our stay...

But he went back and ended up finding us the most beautiful room and view!... The bellman who helped us move from room to room, ARTURO, was so personable and very helpful... Also, the front desk staff allowed us to keep our huge paddleboard in the storage room since we couldn't fit it in the elevator or up the stairs... They are upgrading a good amount of the rooms as well so I'm sure the place will be even more delightful very soon!...

...We also visited, and loved all of the ponds throughout the resort with the koi fish, turtles and ducks. We loved the pool, and the video arcade was a big hit with my grandsons for sure!... The resort is such a magical place and the people working there make it so inviting... We will definitely be back to stay here soon...

Had a magical stay at the resort for my mom birthday!... It was our second time staying at the resort and she was a huge help at informing me of all the packages there were to offer for our celebration... We got strawberries and champagne in the room, which were chilled and very tasty... My favorite part was the chocolate leaf it pairs well with the champagne... Room was beautiful--one of the remolded ones...

...Toilet paper is cheap and staff is mediocre... On a positive note being right on the beach you have many activities you can do and I suggest find restaurants near by as there are plenty to choose from...

...I had several specific needs for the two rooms I wanted and also had a pet. Her wealth of knowledge about the resort, the different rooms and buildings, and the campus of the resort, was extremely helpful in helping us determine room types and locations to book... She also was very helpful with letting me know about the different activities and attractions in the surrounding area... I'm really looking forward to my vacation stay there now!...

...We stayed in two suites on the 12 floor of the tower... The second room had water dripping from the ceiling while a shower was running above it... Apparently the hotel decided to fix it the next morning at 8:00AM and turned off the water...

...We arrivied early and was pleasantly surprised that our room was ready... The bay was outside our door and the beach was across the street... We felt safe to let our boys go anywhere on the property which was BEAUTIFUL and had lots to explore... The staff was just wonderful including Randy at the front desk who helped me with all of my silly requests... The rooms were quiet and we enjoyed the extra space in our suite and having a patio... Our white wine could have been chilled in an ice bucket as it was warm and we got whole fruit and packaged cheese with no knife to cut with... We also ordered milk and cookies and that did not make it but we were not charged...

...We were told our room had 'a patio and direct access to the pool' which meant a small area out of the patio door (that needed to be locked with a bar) with a sunbed and table/chairs but no sun as too far tucked under the building and the gate to the pool was padlocked shut meaning we had to walk quite a way to get round...

...When I tried to book several spa treatments she kept saying in a rude tone “not everyone is trained for everything”, as if I knew who could do what. After trying to book 4 different treatments, I finally asked to get a day pass so I could join a couple of my friends who were using the outdoor area... You can get cleaner rooms at a best western...

...Great hotel, hospitality, food, and lodging all excellent. From the moment we arrived till we left all done well... The hotel has a fun Hawaiian theme with ponds, fish, ducks and Parrotts... Really great location Not inexpensive but done right...

...It is such a luxury to take a vacation these days and when you are treated with kindness it goes a long way for your business...

...But because of the location the family nearby was able to join for the day. We had a 40th birthday celebration and it was lovely, we brought in food and the catering let us use tables and a few chairs... The staff was great, Mr. J. Dardar was supportive and accommodating, the restaurant staff was kind and flexible with our group... and the bar is friendly but some drinks ... not so friendly... We went on the pontoon boat, rented the standup boards, dug in the sand, enjoyed the bonfire and s'mores, walked around the corner to the beach, walked to dinner, lunch and even breakfast... There was a conference whilst we were there but it did not impact any of the services or amenities, we did not wait for a table, or wait long for coffee... There is a coffee bar in case you want to grab n go and a wee gift shop... There were plenty of umbrellas, and beach chairs... They have parrots, ducks and koi fish for the little ones... We did not go to the pool this trip but it looked welcoming... They do not have complete daily housekeeping service, however anything you need is just a text message away; including a roll away bed, crib, water, clean towels and more toiletries...

We were met by the valet who were pleasant and easy to work with... Ryan took time to tell me all my options and we decided on a room on the 2nd floor with an amazing view of the bay... Our room was beautiful and newly refurbished... When we stopped gazing at the bay, we took a walkaround the beautiful lush gardens that made us feel like we were on a wonderful island...
