Great property but there is absolutely no service recovery happening. The room next to us had a broken sprinkler that flooded their room and ours (others too I’m sure). I reached out to the hotel general manager with a very respectful and courteous email requesting that he address this awful inconvenience, but haven’t heard a word from anyone a week later. Actually NO ONE at the property addressed this with us after our room was changed. No apology, no call, no follow-up - nothing. For $350 per night and a $275 resort fee, I expect much more. Their apathy (so far) is actually shocking.
Overall experience was bad . No cleaning in room and basic amenities were missing like no toothbrush , no refill of shampoos and body wash . Reception staff was rude(night time) . So overall really bad experience
We had a nice stay until the last morning when I got out of the shower and closed the glass shower door. It nicked my toe and cut right through it. The bottom tip of the glass door was broken and sharp. Reported it as a safety hazard but would love to know if it is actually fixed before it happens to others.
We have stayed at HR Hotel before and this was a major step back. Weather was in the 60’s so the hotel decided no outdoor amenities would be provided. No fire tables outdoor heaters by pool no pool side bar. Basically paid for an upscale holiday in express. Rooms were clean and comfortable
Great staff and great service. Rooms are immaculate and comfortable. Bar are open late and the gym area is great to support a general workout. Checkin/out was quick and available any time of day which makes it easy when you come in late or need to leave early to catch your flight.
The Hard Roll property in the Gas Lamp District in San Diego is a great place to stay. Customer service goes above and beyond. The location is great, rooms are spacious and well appointed. The conference space was perfect!
Highly recommend! Staff was exceptional and the hotel was clean! We were there with our 13 year old and had a great time. Something different from our normal hotel stays. A lot of restaurant choices in walking distance. Petco Park tour was on our bucket list and about a 2 min walk.
Room and staff were lovely. Hotel was clean and very nice. However it's been a week since I checked out, card was charged, no emailed receipt or email responding to my receipt request. Wouldn't be a problem if there wasn't more than the room and the deposit taken out, so I'd like to see why. If hard rock sees my review, is still like my receipt please! Lol I'd love to stay again with hard rock but this incident being unresolved makes me want to look elsewhere next time unfortunately.
I want to specifically thank Mickey (manager) who helped me get out of an unfortunate situation upon my arrival. Long story short I was promised two rooms which were unable to be delivered upon arrival. Mickey was professional, calm, cool and collected as I unfolded my situation onto him. He was able to provide our party of 5 with a compromise that I dearly appreciated. He put himself in my shoes because of something I was overpromised and underdelivered and came through. Thank you for avoiding making our trip start on a bad note. Much appreciated Mickey.
Dirty Rooms. Dated. Not like pictures. I promise you. The entry level downstairs was top notch but that's about it. Paint clippings, door of fridge hanging. Not interested in staying here again. I'll stick with what I know like the Omni Dallas. Bcuz the pictures be a whole lie!
