As the title says "still can't make my mind up" my wife and I stayed at the andaz for two nights in may. as i handed my car keys over to the valet and looked at the price of parking it was good to see that the andaz was trying to keep the old tradition of highway robbery alive in...

Excellent. We had no expectations and the employees of this hotel took us on an experience like no other. They really care and make your stay so much better that I can't say enough good things. Our's was magical and I do not say that often. Please come here and experience a unique hotel. You will not be disapointed!

This is a high energy hotel that continues to improve each visit. It's always nice to see same staff in place.Still continues to be exciting at pool top bar every weekend with a very diverse group of people of all ages and styles. No one is out of place. We never use a car when down there as Gaslamp district has...

Trendy hotel, overpriced due to a festival in town . Would not stay again. Business partner traveling with me made repeated requests in their room to remove soiled towels to no avail. Very proud of their trendy atmosphere and too forgetful of what hotel guests expect when being charged such high prices and staying in what is touted as a...

Love the look of this hotel and awesome staff. This hotel is in one of the best locations in the Gaslamp. Far enough away from the am noise, but walking distance from the fun. Great design, bold colors, and luxury feel. Front desk staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. Room had an intimate design, no lie, glass panels and glass restroom door..lol....

Located in the heart of downtown San Diego, the Andaz is a mix of good and noisy. While our room was spacious, the upstairs neighbor made it restless. The men's store remained locked at mid morning even though it's sign said open at 9am....when I inquired, the staff at Andaz didn't have an adequate answer. There may be better options,...

I had a quick stay at the Andaz - in & out in 12 hours. My room was very nice - was upgraded to their odd mini-suite. Sleep area was very good - nice bed. Work area was OK - chair was more stylish than comfortable. Bathroom was well appointed and large. I did not care for the "interior view"...

This was an excellent hotel in a great location. Clean and tidy, with a great room. Definitely recommend the deluxe room with the glass shower box, this was heavenly after a long drive! The staff were always accommodating and helpful. Excellent roof top pool and bar.

"Trendy, Chic, Modern, New" - name an adjective that appeals to Gen X'ers with disposable income, and that is who Hyatt is trying to attract with their Andaz hotel. Problem is, I didn't find the hotel to be that exceptional. It's similar to Starwood's Aloft Hotels, but at a higher price. Perhaps their premium price is justified by their location...

From valet service upon arrival, check in, to valet service upon departure, everything was easy. I was made to feel welcome. The lobby, room, and amenity spaces are clean, modern, and well appointed. The location is convenient to most downtown San Diego has to offer.
