A very short overnight stay on our US trip. We arrived from Carlsbad and were welcomed professionally. My room was well appointed and beyond my expectations. Breakfast next morning in the restaurant was very Flash but like most American hotels, they can't make a simple, bacon and eggs like us Aussies.

This was a fairly standard but good hotel in the Gaslamp Quarter and very conveniently located to the various places and restaurants around the Gaslamp area. The staff were pleasant and the rooms fine and overall a good experience.

This Marriott was well priced, clean, and a friendly staff. Location was great, central to many restaurants and other places of interest. It was right next to Petco field, and although there was no games our weekend, it was cool to see into from on high. There was a 21 & over bar on the roof with nice views as...

Hotel itself is ok... Found Jacki (concierge) to be highly impolite and rude. Maybe doesn't realize she works in the service industry. Hotel location is good. Room a typical Marriott room. Just a poor experience with the one staff memeber.

We couldn't have been more pleased with our choice of this hotel in the Gaslamp district. The room was nicely appointed with a large desk-work area and view of Petco park, the Bay and Coronado in the distance. The staff was friendly and attentive. From the hotel the Embarcadero, Convention Center, Petco park, Horton Plaza and all restaurants and shops...

We had reservations for 2 rooms to be there for several days. We arrived around 2pm and were told they had no rooms available and would have to come back later. We had traveled from the East Coast and were exhausted. With no where to go, we waited in the lobby for what turned out to be about 2 1/2...

I was charmed by the stylish and trendy restaurants, cafes and boutique hotels that lined the streets of downtown San Diego near the harbour front, but nothing in the SoCal town compared to the breathtaking views of Old Town, Balboa Park and La Jolla. The cantina-style restaurants, museums and botanical gardens blended in and brought out the splendor of the...

In Gaslamp District. Lots of restaurants within close walking Distance. Beautiful old historic hotel. Converted from bank building. People nice, convenient to lots of attractions. Room is spacious and bathroom updated. Clean and smelled good. View was great. Downside parking $40 day and Internet was not dependable but would stay here again in a heartbeat.
