My family spent a week at this hotel on a work/vacation trip. We had stayed here one other time. Both times were great. The rooms were clean and quiet and my kids loved the hotel pool/hot tub. The breakfast was also good. The staff was helpful. I was able to park on the street without problem so I didn't have... More

I was at this hotel for longer this time so I thought I would do another review. This time I came in early with the family. They worked with me to get a room that would fit us all. The pool and hot tub were the right size for the kids and very clean. We had a good breakfast as... More

Arrived for an early check in which had been requested in advance. Room was ready and an upgrade for Elite Gold member. Parked on the street as it was free and hotel underground was pay. Front desk check in was fast and gave us a warm welcome. Explained what we needed to know about restaurants in the area around hotel... More

Our family travelled from Connecticut to California and planned to spend 4 days in San Diego. We chose this hotel for the queen size beds, the breakfast being included, and the location. We never got to stay in the hotel since the room we booked was gone when we arrived. Even calling ahead a few days before we left didn't... More

Great place for many reasons. A walk to old town for dinner (and drinks). Only 10 minutes from downtown SD. Very centrally located to major activities. The rooms have been updated. Very clean. Great ice machine. Jacuzzi and small pool for kids to end their day. Great breakfast buffet. Only drawback is parking. $18 in their lot or free parking... More

This is not your typical Fairfield Inn. Appears to be a former resort of some sort, very nice design, fits in the neighborhood. Good pool area for a Fairfield, easy access to the property off of I-5. Room was good size with a comfortable bed. Shower was warm and had good pressure. WiFi worked really well.

Went to Sea World for the weekend and hotel was nearby and in Old Town. Since you have to pay for parking, park in the loading zone first, check in, get your key and then get access to the parking garage. Parking is $18 a night. Pretty pricey for a Fairfield Inn at $161.00 a night, but at least we... More

We stopped here during a two-day getaway. The hotel is very close to Old Town and across the street from one of San Diego's best mexican restaurants, El Agave. At $125 a night (Marriott member rate) our room had no view or balcony, but was well equipped (microwave, huge flat screen, refrigerator, free wifi) clean and comfortable. The included breakfast... It is definitely a different layout for a hotel. Rooms were nice and the pool/hot tub was nice! Breakfast is typical but you can't beat free. You can pay $18 for covered parking or park on the streets for free. About a 5 min walk to the old town tram station, the green line will take you right I to... More

If you like to go on treasure hunts you will like this hotel. The rooms are pod like linked by covered walkways and you have to use your key card to get into each pod. The breakfast bar was very good and had a good selection to choose from. Rooms clean and neat.
