There is no self park here and you have to valet, which is $45.00 a day, even for hotel guests! They validate their decision by saying basically 'well, the others hotels charge that price.' It would be nice for hotel guests to have a choice on parking or at least don't charge people that are actually staying at your hotel!... More

This hotel only offers valet at a fairly steep price of $45 a day. I might not mind this as much except that a couple of my mornings were spent waiting for ~20-30 minutes for my car as they only have one person working the valet in the morning and he kept getting the tickets confused as to who was... Stayed there when it was called 'W' and since being taken over, no improvements have been made. Besides that, a number of things missing or dont work. There was a used rag left by the maid next to the tv, and hair still in the sink. There is no fridge even though there is a space. There is a lighted... More

We recently had just one night here. It was quite lovely. Very quiet air con which was great given the very hot weather. The only downside we have to report wad that other than a Seven 11 nearbyish ... There was no where else to grab food. There was a restaurant in the hotel I think but we didn't want... More

The room (714) was a great room, bright, airy and good space. The service was not very good at all. Frequently there was no one at the front desk, the fitness center was not usable because it was 62 degrees and no one was around to make it warmer. Breakfast (not included) was fine but not exceptional. The wait staff... More

There for San Diego Comic Con and while it was a bit far from the convention center to be convenient, it was a great place to come back to after a full day of crowds and insanity. Breakfast at the restaurant was amazing both days, but wish they offered room service in the evening. Comfortable beds, great bathroom, clean, and... More

We travel all over the place, and often stay at Marriott properties. At first glance, this Renaissance seemed like it would be okay. It's sort of squeezed into a tight spot downtown, within easy walking distance to Little Italy (and good restaurants for dinner). But they took over the W at some point, and all of the rooms are super-dated... More

My husband and I spent the evening at this hotel after our wedding. The front desk was amazing and gave a upgrade to a corner suite to help us in our celebration. The room was beautiful. Very clean hotel throughout. The rooftop bar was the perfect place for a night cap. The service was spot on. I would highly recommend... More

I have over 2000 Marriott nights and this hotel may be the worst I've stayed at. Given a room with no regard to my status therefore a low floor room next to elevator. The rooms look and feel like a college dorm room and that's being kind. I'm not a big fan of cube storage and no chairs to watch... More

I am platinum traveller with Marriott and this location is bad, cuentky constuction on neighboring building 630am to 8pm. Not a huge problem for me because I was working, other people were grumbling. Food in restaurant Kelvin is inventive and fabulous. No perks, you could barely get a few small bottles of water from them. Valet parking only 45 dollars... More
