It’s always wonderful experience to stay at Hilton. Especially when Hilton has employees like Laila. Great hosting by Laila. She is customer focused. And ensured I’m comfortable. She always has smile on her face. She is an asset to Hilton team.
I recently spent five days at this property and from the very first moment I stepped into this hotel, I experienced nothing but exemplary customer service from the the front desk staff, breakfast and dinner servers, housekeepers, and even being greeted by the maintenance man on occasion. It was the most wonderful week of my spring!
Nice hotel with great location for touring around SD.Special thanks to Agape at the front desk and Laila in the dining room for taking care of the two of us. Couple things: We had a great room on the 8th floor. However, there was a constant drone from machinery or equipment above us. Our key cards never worked to open the garage gates, even after Agape reprogrammed them for us. The food credits instead of complimentary breakfast is a loser, especially because of the ridiculously overpriced menu of nothing special food. It cost us over $20 for breakfast for two after factoring credits of $30.
Staff was great especially from the individuals at reception to the housekeepers. Laila was exceptional. So enjoyed talking with her, Laila provided excellent service in the restaurant! She is so friendly and happy! Thanks, Laila! You provided a wonderful start to each of four mornings at the Doubletree!
Hello. I just want to let you know that breakfast server named M&M is a great asset to Hilton. He authentically cares about his job and clients. He is very good at what he does and carries forth a great attitude that makes a positive difference in those he interacts with.
Kimberly was the most amazing front desk manager! There was a mistake on our reservation date, but she was so helpful in getting it fixed, even without available reservations the day we showed up. She truly saved the day! Thank you!
Clean room, friendly staff. However, Wifi is terrible, motel 6 probably has better Wifi. Our team had 4 rooms for multiple days. Had to use cell phone hot spot to have connectivity. This is not a business hotel with this kind of WiFi speed. Walls and windows are thins. Easy to hear freeway noise if you are in the front close to the freeway. Hear neighbors TV pretty clearly.
Very expensive not a great value. Room service is non-existent. Conference rooms were too warm and poor ventilation. We saw C02 levels exceeding 2500 ppm by the end of the day. The freeway noise was pervasive. I wish they would have had room service every day
Overall customer satisfaction was great. Agape at the front counter and Laila in the Seaglase Cafe provided superb service. I would highly recommend staying here to others and would consider coming here again myself. 10/10.
Didn’t meet my expectations. It didn’t feel like Doubletree by Hilton felt like 2 Star hotel, stayed there for 3 nights. Room had dirty carpet, Dirty bed set blanket had huge blood spot on it. It seemed like they probably didn’t even wash it. We requested room service on 3rd day. Came back to our room end of the day. Room wasn’t clean. Called front desk they said housekeeping had left and she will call manager to see what she could do. $30 parking a night breakfast not included. Overall not good not satisfied.
