My boyfriend and I stayed here only for one night. Ubication is ok but it is like 15 minutes walking to city centre. Staff were friendly and room was clean but old. No view to the city from windows. Breakfast is not included. Parking is included.

The pros: -I found the staff very friendly and proactive. One night there was an issue with a woman being loud in the lobby, and another with a room making too much noise. Both were dealt with quickly by the desk agent and security guy. -The price is very good for the location. Two quick blocks to Little Italy and...

This has really nice employees, but I would never recommend to visitors. Do not take kids here! The only upside is price & bus stop. It has no amenities. It has homeless with vouchers staying there. Drug dealers are outside trying to sell dope. Men traveling alone might be okay. I cannot suggest for travelers, in good conscience. Cheap is...

My partner and I relocated from Vermont to San Diego on March 7th, we called ahead of time, actually just a few hours outside of San Diego, to book a room for the night. Even at the last minute the staff was able to accommodate us! Well, low and behold we ended up staying from March 7th to March 28th,...

The best thing about this hotel is its location. The rooms though are quite worn out and a bit expensive for what you really get. The area right by the hotel can be a bit sketchy at night so watch out if you don't have a car. Not bad if you have no other options. Cette hôtel est extrêmement bien...

The friendly staff at Motel 6 go out of their way to be helpful. In particular, Deborah was very helpful and offered to show me the room before I paid. When I called the next day to extend my stay she quickly arrange for me to have the same room. This hotel is just a few blocks from the bay,...

As Motel 6's go this was ok for us. Myself and wife stayed for a couple of nights during a road trip. Firstly, remember that for the money you pay at this type of motel you are not going to get 5 star. We witnessed someone complaining at reception because of the 'type' of people staying. I really don't understand...

After closing 500West Broadway Hotel, downtown San Diego runs out of valuable rooms.(I am not talking about hostels). Motel 6 - downtown is a quite good alternative, when you look for a still central und quite located motel. Free parking & coffee as well as clean rooms are on the pro side. No free wifi but some interesting guests ;-)

2 rounds of fresh bedsheets, all were stained. 3 people we encountered acted like they were on drugs. We left. Hate to be negative but we couldn't stay. However, the staff was nice and fully refunded us without question. That was greatly appreciated!!!
