Firstly, this hotel costs almost $300. Secondly , this place is a dump. It is so small you have to go outside to change your mind. It is old and spartan. They supply you with shampoo but you have to buy your own conditioner. There are two small drawers in the night tables and a hanging space that poses as... More

The room was much, much smaller than we expected. Too small for two adults. The sheets and one of the pillowcases had blood on them. To finish off this stay, the bathroom sink sprayed water at us every time we used it and the shower oscillated between hot and cold when in use. The only good thing I can say... More

Lovely place, not too far away from pacific beach, but you need a car to go there. Also really easy to get on highway so a very good location if you don´t want to pay to stay at the beach. Breakfast was amazing and very organized. Sandra was really sweet.

Smallest room we ever stay in. Floors where filthy. The staff was very nice and offered to clean it but already cleaned it. We've stay in other rooms in this area that offered more for the same price. Would not stay here again. Sorry

My daughter booked this Red Roof Inn on Mission Bay Drive upon arriving in San Diego. We weren't too sure at first, but we were glad we took the reservation. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. A little smaller than some but it took care of our needs, nonetheless. Breakfast was great and there was... More

We had a great stay in this hotel. It was conveniently close to the beach (4min drive) and close to the hwy. Our room was clean, the staff was amazing, and our breakfast was delicious. The room was a bit small but it wasn't an issue for us, as we only used the room to sleep and shower during our... More

I work on the east coast in hospitality and for the most part San Diego was not the friendliest place. I personally know how nasty people can be, but for my stay at this particular inn I was very happy with service. Lycia took exceptional care of me even after I witnessed someone being extremely rude to her and yet... More

The ladies, Sandra and her coworker, who serve the breakfast are so kind and thoughtful. They make all the guests feel right at home and make the most amazing waffles. I thought at first it would be like a continental breakfast, but it was a hundred times better. Thanks Sandra for making my stay a great one!

The people that work there are very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms could have been a little cleaner and the towels could have been better. The rooms are small and a bit cramped. Over all not bad at all! Only three miles to the beach! Some people can be noisy at night!
