The location of the Hostel is very good, because it is in the downtown of San diego and everything is near, restaurants, pubs, a museum, a convention center etc. this make the hostel a good option to know the city

When I enter again I feel like old friends are waiting for me. Always a smile ready to help. Even I arrive early, they accept and keep my personal belongings safe, i started my exploring day. Bathrooms still good quality, always clean. Breakfast time is such an experience, all the people sharing, I really appreciate it. Still recommend.

Fantastic location right in the heart of all the best the Gaslamp has to offer. The best restaurants, pubs, and even a 7-11 and late nite pizza are right outside your door. The Nest is a unique concept with no staff interaction only cameras, keypads, and codes. Reminded me of Japan. The place is new, nice, and clean with a...

very good hostel - very clean, with nightly drinking activities. I went on the pub crawl and the Wednesday mcfaddens experience and they were both great. The location is perfect. Thanks to all staff - who put in a lot of effort to make it what it is. Ben

Good hostel, clean and with excellent location. The rooms have everything needed and you can have access to the main places in the city by walk. The staff needs to smile more... and the breakfast needs to be improved.

Great location, very central. Staff is very firendly and helpful. Beds are very confortable, and there are lockers with a plug inside, which is very useful. The isolation is not so good, and the streets get quite noisy at night in the weekend. Which is a problem only if you are not out as well! The hostel itself is very...

They had everything I wanted, including: wifi, breakfast with coffee, people from all over the world, clean showers, clean toilets, clean sinks, no lines for the bathroom, great location, friendly staff, clean beds, and quiet when I wanted to sleep.

I have been there for couple of nights. Location was pretty good as it is close to downtown. However, the staff were really kind and cooperative. In term of cleanliness, rooms, rest and shower rooms were very clean but the overall smell of the motel was so bad.

My 4-bed dorm had no windows ! This was not indicated anywhere before my check in . The hall smelled like meldue as there is no sufficient air exchange inside. Otherwise this place was clean and well organized. Kitchen is really nice and wifi worked well .

The room is clean and quite spacious! Mini kitchen has sliverware, pots, dishes and cups. Bathroom is also pretty nice. AC is very powerful. The only thing is that the room is right above a popular bar, usually noisy till late night. But the location is very good, close to lots of good restaurants

“If possible, use a locker that's outside of the room so you don't wake people up and don't have to turn on the light. Bottom bunk is convenient but if somebody gets into bed on the top bunk after you, you're going to hear mattress springs.”
