We booked this hotel along with another couple as part of a longer tour of the States. We have all been to San Diego before but had previously stayed in the Mission Bay area and thought we'd give a downtown location a chance for a change. We arrived quite late after a long journey and while my husband and I...

Dear B2Bandit, I appreciate you taking the time to provide us with a detailed review of your stay. We review all comments and look to make improvements where possible. As in any large city, parking is always limited however we strive to be competitive within the area while providing a secured garage for guest vehicles. There are other nearby options,...

I feel that I need to explain how refreshing my stay was at the Westin San Diego "Gaslamp". All services were exemplary but one individual made my stay comfortable and relaxing for my wife and I on her 30th! Rodrigo at the hotel bar provided us fabulous drinks my wife enjoyed and upon my request of Rodrigo, also provided a...

Was here for business and was impressed with property. Service was good. Housekeeping did a nice job. Rooms are sparse, as are most Westins, but the room size was bigger than usual. Buffet food served at our breakouts was typical - salads, sandwiches, etc. good but not great. I wouldn't want to stay here if I was on vacation because...

Got a very good conference price or this hotel...the location couldn't be better. If I had paid the going rate( $3-400/nite), I may have been disappointed because it was pretty average and the carpet was actually stained. They need more elevators and bathrooms for a hotel that hosts conferences....one had to wait in long lines....I felt sorry for the non-conference...

The Westin is is a great location in the Gaslamp Quarter. They have a grab-and-go shop but the food isn't great and overpriced. Didn't eat in restaurant so can't judge that. The rooms are really spacious, modern and there is no noise from the streets. There is no wifi in the bedrooms unless you pay for it which is disappointing...

I was very pleased with this hotel. The rooms were very spacious and beds were so soft. I loved the shower also. It was a bit pricey and didn't really offer many free amenities, but the service was top notch. The concierge gave us great recommendations for casinos and restaurants.

Stayed for 2 days with the family. Very nice and clean hotel. We enjoyed the pool (which was a bit small) and used their fitness. Perfect location close to the Gaslamp Quarter. Free Wifi should be standard in the rooms and not an extra charge. Their price for valet parking is ridiculous ($42). We parked the car 50 meters down...

My family and I went to San Diego for our summer vacation and really appreciated the wonderful customer service we received at the Westin. My husband and I went to San Diego for a vacation. Our room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The pool was on the third floor on a rooftop. It was quite small for the size of the hotel. After a full day of touring we would return for a swim to cool down only to find that all of...
