Great Service Very attentive waiters. The food was excellent. I truly Recommend the Molten Chocolate cake as a dessert. It was truly delicious. I had a great service at the restaurant by Ruben, Ricardo, and Daniel. I also had a great service at ingredients by Karen. Always smiling and attentive.

Stayed at the Westin Gaslamp for a conference, and although we liked the location, our room badly needed updating. Phones were old and out of order, the bathroom shower had an odd shower head that shot straight out of the wall, and our room keys didn't work due to the old sensor. The location near shopping and restaurants was the...

Dear Louise B, Thank you for staying with us at The Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter. It sounds like you enjoyed our location in the heart of Downtown. In addition to the beaches nearby, there is also the San Diego Bay which is home to Seaport Village and the USS Midway Museum. I apologize for the issues you encountered during...

My daughter was here on business. This hotel is adjacent to the conference center. I went along to sightsee in San Diego. The location was perfect! I walked to Seaport Village, The USS Maritime Museum, and of course the Gaslamp District itself. A nice little grocery store is about a 15 minute walk away, in the Gaslamp District, if you...

We stayed at the Westin San Diego Gaslamp back in 2011 and thought the hotel was the best place we had ever experienced. This year, we stayed at the same hotel for a conference and wondered what happened to the magic. The first room we were placed in, the lamp was broken and the window viewed a dark hole. As...

Clean & sophisticated the Westin always delivers. The rooms are spacious with a station for your electronics on the desk. There's a fridge and Starbucks coffee. Two comfy chairs and a flat screen TV. They have a restaurant & bar for a night cap. It's 5-10 minutes from the airport. A shuttle comes every 15 minutes. Ask for directions to...

Thank you for all of the compliments, Linda R! During your free time, I hope you had the opportunity to explore what San Diego has to offer. Stayed at the Westin Gaslamp for a conference. The location is very close to lots of eateries and about a half mile walk to the convention center. Room was clean with standard amenities. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay.

I have platinum status at Marriott and get free internet. Warning- status for internet doesn't transfer. The advertisement leads you to believe that your status transfers but obviously it doesn't. Very misleading and not happy with how they come across in their advertisement Given the choice - I'm going Marriott not Westin
