Stay away if you want a good night's rest. Kids and adults running in hallways until midnight. Slowest extra fee wifi EVER!!!! Security did nothing to make it better. I would suggest anywhere else in town. Most Courtyards have a good reputation, but cross this one off of your list!!!

Quick weekend trip to San Diego didn't spend much time at the hotel, but the location was great, the room was clean and comfortable, and a decent value for summer in San Diego. Easy walking to Old Town, lots of great restaurants with a historical, Spanish vibe.

The hotel staff were very friendly and it was within walking distance to downtown but parking spaces were limited. The room, however, had a wall mounted sink with no counter space making it difficult to find room for toothbrush, etc. The ac unit was extremely noisy, and there was no refrigerator or microwave. The pool was tiny and cloudy when... More

Well, first off, the parking here sucks...the people who worked there had no idea where to send me to eat...and the room was under par. It is in a very good part of town but no one there knew that apparently. I would stay there again if I was in the area and wanted to go to Old Town, but... More

I went on business travel and am grateful so that I spent minimal time in my room. Apparently, a pipe burst and made the whole place stink fiercely! What made it worse was that when I called to complain, the desk person said it was a gas leak but not to worry as it wasn't poisonous?!? Well, the next day... More

Thank you very much for sharing your experience with us. I am very sorry to hear that your did not enjoy your time with us. We were indeed working on an emergency vent pipe replacement and while we tried to limit the negative experiences from our guests the smell haunted us. Please know that we have since corrected the issue... More

We have stayed here many times over the years. Hotel has been a Courtyard for some time and is always a good choice. The lobby and front entrance have been redone in Courtyard blue and orange in attempt to add some color but, fortunately, color scheme doesn't carry over into rooms. Rooms have large flatscreen televisions, mini fridge, pull out table... More

This hotel has nice employees, and the rooms and lobby have been very nicely upgraded! I definitely would stay again. The deposit was only $25! I would highly suggest this place. And if you are a visitor to San Diego, old town is very central to every area

I have stayed at the Courtyard marriott old town more than once. The staff is ver friendly. I would like to especially name Jolene, the front desk manager (or general manager ) .She has been very accommodating to my simple requests. She is also very friendly and has a positive attitude. I would recommend this hotel.
