drunk middle aged wedding go-er had a lover quarrell with wife and was knocking on everyone's door in the area and banging on his for hours straight. We called security, arrived 30 minutes later, we had to wait and listen to banging on his door. brought it up with management next morning ZERO service or care. DO NOT STAY HERE! BEWARE!!!
We stayed for the weekend at this beautiful property when in town for a wedding. The grounds and Spanish architecture are what make the resort special, with the pretty pools, many courtyards and fountains, flowering gardens, and numerous quiet spots. It's a wedding photographer's dream. Staff was, to a person, friendly and helpful, both ahead of time with trip planning and once on-site. I'd like to particularly mention our breakfast servers on subsequent days at Veranda for outstanding service: Lewis and Chris. Food was good. Less impressive was our dated and musty room. We did not bother asking to be moved because the resort was sold out. The room was certainly showing its age, though this is certainly something they can improve once all hotels get over the financial hit from the pandemic. In the meantime, luxury mattresses to match the price tag of the room stay would go a long way. The one in the room seemed budget level and hard. Lighting, especially in the bathroom, can also be improved. They are also only offering housekeeping service for stays of 3 nights or more because of the pandemic. This is hardly a safety precaution at this point because they can do housekeeping safely and do so at many hotels at which we've stayed. Perhaps it reflects a staffing shortage, which is legitimate. However, the room price doesn't reflect the lack of included services and at least provide more towels to begin a stay than 2 wash cloths, 2 hand towels, and 2 bath towels so that guests do not need to request more to be delivered. At the moment, the property is thriving, which is so good to see. There are numerous events on the weekends--multiple weddings each day, plus corporate and golf events. They are only offering self-parking, except for events attendees. When we checked in, parking availability was scarce. That freed up after the first night. This is a lovely property, which I imagine will be even better once the world is no longer facing staffing issues and the property has income to invest in room renovations.…
We’ve lived in the area for over a year, and emerging slowly from the pandemic booked an over-nighter for wife and two toddlers. Was a bit concerned about whether enough for the tots, but RBI is family friendly and everyone had a wonderful time. Wife and I are foodies and we agreed Avanti was outstanding. Tons of ambiance here. A bit old schoolish rather than chic, but classy Spanish style. Room was clean and beds & pillows were wonderful. We look forward to returning.
We enjoyed the family pool area. Love the ambiance and the comfort of our room. The breakfast was cooked and prepared perfectly. Great and helpful staff exceeded my expectations. Can’t wait to go back with my family again.
