This is a beautiful hotel , lots of history and a really cool part of town . Historical hotel that I believe only has like 10 rooms ..rooms are small but very nice . Some rooms have very cool vintage looking wooden tubs . Great hotel for a romantic get away . Fair warning the 2 rooms I have stayed... More

If you're looking for something unique for your next trip to San Diego, I recommend a stay at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. Located in Old Town State Park the Cosmopolitan is a 10 room hotel decorated with antique furniture to reflect early 20th century luxury. Spoiler Alert! No TVs or telephones in the rooms, but they do have free WiFi. The... More

We stayed in room 7 which had this amazing copper bathtub. My 11-year-old daughter used the tub, and it was so deep, I could only see the top of her head while she was sitting in it. She loved it. The room had a small extra room where she was able to sleep, so that was nice. Getting around the... More

We've stayed at the cosmopolitan three times now and enjoy out stay for the comfort, Historic, staff, and Mgmt. Dee he's a good MGR always very accommodating. The hotel is very historic built around 1899. The room clean and look as I you go back in time. The walls, and room amenities are from the period. No tv, as none... More

From the friendly, helpful staff who checked us in and showed us around to the super hotel manager who called a cab and saw us off after our 3-day stay, we felt welcomed and valued as guests. This historic hotel property sits right in Old Town offering lots to do and see. Only the most diehard TV watchers will miss... More

This is a really nice hotel in the old town. We wanted to spend a night in this area and this hotel was just perfect. The room was kinda small, but it I loved the interior! It felt like we were back in the "good old days". In the backyard it was perfect to go for a drink. The hotel... More

Our greeter had little social skills. He tried checking in two guests at once. His approach was cold. We went out during the day and had no parking when we returned. We understand an event of some sort was going on but those cars should have been moved that did not have hotel passes.

We were staying at the Courtyard by Marriott in Old Town San Diego. We had enjoyed Mexican food several times & wanted some variety, but we did not want to leave Old Town. I searched for restaurants on Tripadvisor & found great reviews for the restaurant at the Cosmopolitan Hotel located in the State Park area within walking distance of... More

We stayed here six nights and we enjoyed our stay. If you want to be in Old Town the location is great. There are reserved parking spots for hotel guests and we never had a problem getting one. As I was thinking of my rating for the hotel (We also ate at the restaurant and separately reviewed it.) I went... More
