Always wanted to stay at the Cosmopolitan. Finally treated myself and my sister for her birthday. Heard so much about it. The fact we might have had a paranormal experience was another draw. Great place. Like stepping back in time. Continental breakfast was great also. Will stay again.

The location and attention to detail can't be beat. The decor in the room was very fun and made me feel like I had stepped back in time about 100 years. The service was amazing. I was greeted with a smile and felt very welcome. When I saw the location of my room, Room #1, with an outside table overlooking... More

Cosmopolitan Hotel was wonderful. Spent our 50th wedding anniversary in the Seeley Suite. Staff was wonderful. Made us feel so special. Congratulations to us on restaurant chalkboard. Chilled bottle of wine waiting in our room. Wonderful dinner in the restaurant. Topped off with special dessert the chef created just for us. Heart shaped, ice cream layer, cheesecake layer, red velvet... More

We stayed for three nights as we were in town for baseball games. Location is fantastic - easy access to San Diego Trolley and transport to downtown. Saves driving and paying parking fees. Easy route back to hotel. When you are back you are right in Old Town. The entire staff is friendly and courteous and attentive to every need.... More

I booked the hotel for one night and asked for a late check-in: they were very kind to accommodate it. Unfortunately my flight was delayed to the next day due to bad weather in NY so I had to sleep near to the airport JFK. The hotel consierge was very kind and called the Cosmopolitan Hotel to explain the problem... More

Very good staff. Friendly a accommodating. Food was terrible. My son and I had the ribeye. VERY FATTY and thin. Actually had to spit out a piece into my napkin. Wife had a chicken dish which I tasted. It consisted of a chicken thigh on top of a bed of something…just nasty.

Disconnect. A real key to your room. Hostess taking you to your room and showing you around. Living in history. This was a great choice and one we shall do again. The staff was the best we have ever had. I wish I could really describe everything about this hotel. In short, we loved it!

My wife and I were in the downtown area on a Saturday night tor a concert and we decided to stay in Old Town at The Cosmopolitan Hotel. The building dates back to the 1820's and it has been remodeled several times. There are 10 rooms on the second floor above the bar and restaurant. Our room #6 was very... More

For people who like charming and authentically restored historic hotels, I'd highly recommend the Cosmopolitan. We arrived late and were personally greeted by Stephanie who was not only welcoming, but helpful. Our room was decorated with antiques but had modern amenities including a comfortable bed and A/C. Breakfast is provided and included homemade scones (yummy), good coffee, fresh fruit and... More
